But let's at least keep things somewhat in the realm of reality.
College Station ain't a shimmering metropolis by any stretch of the imagination, but it's immensely better than fricking Waco. And I pity anyone who is so overtaken by stockholm syndrome... by fricking Waco no less, to actually think otherwise.

Texas A&M is a fine university with great people. Been there several times...CS is more like a typical Texas town, nothing more and nothing less. I don't mind it.
Opposing fans, though, have gone overboard in their criticizing and making fun of Aggies on this board. It's muchadoaboutnothin'.

You have to go to your stadium to kiss your date? I saw a lot of guys dancing with each other, some kind of hoe down. Didnt see them kissing though. Very weird.

I wouldn’t mind A&M if they simply dropped the yell leader thing. Pretty much everything about them otherwise isn’t that bad. Lot of tradition. Very conservative. Agricultural background.
Parties but doesn’t go hard like Tech. More fun to be around than snooty UT or OU fans. I think once the new guys come to the conference, our disdain for A&M will settle down and shift more towards UT and OU. Those guys are assholes.

I Dont get why yall cant put the female dance team "you already have" on the sideline somewhere. The yell leaders can still run around doing their thing but at least you'd have something else for the TV cameras to show.
