Hunter Yurachek did try to hire Kiffen at Houston. So, I do know he does like him.

Any AD that hires Brady as a head coach is retarded. Im not saying he won't be the man later on in his career but he has had exactly 9 games of experience in NCAA coaching and not even as a OC coordinator role. Dude needs more time.

There is gonna be a small school that takes a chance. And with Burrow gone next year, that might make brady think his stock couldn't get much higher. Crazier things have happened.

Someone will take the chance on Brady - still think its going to be the NFL, though
I expect Rhule and Brady to both be in the NFL next year

Lane’s still chasing tail in Florida and rutting hard on the co-eds. If Arky is ok with that, then open the vault and bring him in.

Freshwater isn’t looking to take on a 2nd tier SEC program.

That program has no instate recruiting base with enough SEC caliber players at the ready.

LSU, Bama, ATM are humming along.

Nope. Arkansas needs to hope it can just get someone in there to get the program to respectability and maybe eventually bowling.

As i said in another thread over the weekend, there are certain schools in the conference that aren’t really competing for the same thing as the upper echelon teams.
They are good for an upset or two every now and then, but they aren’t going to Atlanta and sure as hell aren’t competing for a top 4 spot.

These schools are as follows
MSU
Ole miss
Arkansas
Mizzou
Kentucky
Vandy
So cal

They need to aim for someone who is a winner. Kiffin has been a loser everywhere including the SEC. He may have had some winning seasons starting out at schools but every team eventually got worse under him.

They need someone that wins despite the talent level he has. Freeze is one of those but it maybe too early for the sec to let him back. Bill Clark maybe an realistic option.

I'd replace Mizzou with South Carolina.

Lumping A&M in with LSU and Bama is still funny to me. Seems premature. They haven't done anything in the SEC that we haven't done yet.

Kiffin wanted the Arkansas job bad back in 2007 when we hired Petrino but that was 12 years ago so a lot has changed since then. He allegedly punched through a wall when he didn't get it.

Freeze is the guy to bring the Hohs back to the Petrino days. Can the Arky Administration trust him after Bobby got caught cheating on his wife and Hugh cheating on his?

Program is too far gone at this point.

Nothing to build upon.

It’s a major overhaul top to bottom.

Kiffin or Freeze would be a great hire for the Flagship.

If Kiffin actually wants the job, hope he gets it. He will flame out there as he has everywhere else, though

Sounded like he was going more on potential and recruiting. A&M brought in a top 5 class last year and looking to get another one this year.

Personal life (unless criminal) shouldn't be mentioned or used when hiring or firing.

And saying Ar-Kansas to try and rile us up just makes us think that you have some damaged DNA and rode the short bus to school.

Well I am glad it didn't work on you....

Of all the coaches that Ar-kansas realistically has a shot at, he might have the strongest resume. Stoops and Malzahn aren't coming. Fritz and Norvell look like good choices (and may do great) but comparing resume, Kiffin has the most high level coaching experience (USC, Tenn, Bama).
