Yeah his post is way off base. NW Arkansas is a great area. It's a stark contrast to California or Florida but nice in it's own way.

I could see Mahlzahn - dude is under constant fire at AU. It would probably be a relief to go somewhere without ridiculous expectations for awhile

Kiffin is #2 on my wish list. I'd rather see Matt Campbell, but Kiffin would do.

Kiffin is the only available coach for Arkansas that could possibly win an SEC title someday. Period

They should have hired Leach the first time.

Mike Leach at Arkansas worries me.

Auburn's expectations aren't outrageous. They have been to the NCG twice in the last decade. He has no excuse with as much talent as this team has to lose to UF and should be in the playoff hunt if he could develop a QB.

As far as Arkansas, unless he is waiting on the buyout money then this would be the year to jump to Arkansas if he wants to go there. The defense is going to take big hit on the Line and won't be able to bail out the Offense next year.

Campbell isn't going to Arkansas to compete with the rest of the SEC West. He's built a contender at ISU, with considerably less resistance to relevance

He's actually happy there. For now.

Leach doesn't recruit so I don't think that he could be a consistent top 10 team. But he definitely would create another team in the west that would surprise a top 10 team or two every year.

He's playing a true freshman at QB - one that fits his system. AU could be dangerous next year

I don't think you know any of this. I think you're talking out your arse. I think he can be hired away from ISU. It would cost quite a bit, but it could be done.

No joke, I’m from BFE Louisiana but have been to plenty of places across the USA and my wife is Austrian so I know a thing or two about the Alps...NW Arkansas is an absolutely beautiful part of America, can’t wait to take my kids there! Would love for it to be a nice late Oct Tigers vs Razorback fall Saturday!

BoarEd - I actually do. But that is because I AM a booster, and I have booster friends and connections all around the NCAA. I know because some other program was interested in Campbell

And they were WAY better off than Arkansas currently is.

However, the man is waiting on the NFL to come calling. The same can be said for Rhule

But, maybe if you offer him stupid money he'd change his mind. He already makes pretty good scratch at ISU though.

You should know that the SEC West is referred to as the "coaches graveyard"

They have more SEC West Titles than both Pississippi schools put together.
