Cotton Bowl is a great bowl but it's not a BCS bowl. LSU and Bama will be there next year.

I dunno.

My mistake here is that I'm

A: Going to step in between (another) Arkansas-LSU catfight.

B: Going to be impartial.

--unpause--

Arkansas has been trending solidly upward over the last several years. I believe their fans have every reason to be excited about the direction their program is going in.

If they manage to get everything clicking at once and get lucky with injuries, they may accomplish some really big things here soon, be it a big win in a BCS bowl or maybe even claiming the SEC another National Championship.

Your right, #6 vs #8 was better than a few bcs bowls.

Since the Bowl Ban is over, we will be subjected to the biggest Slobber-Fest imaginable for USC, now that Barkley is returning

We can only hope that they fall flat on their face, which is what Kiffin deserves.

I loathe the thought of seeing that brash, egotistical punk actually have success after the antics he has pulled :banghead:

USC generally does. I think UCLA is about due to shock the hell out of them, aren't they?

One of the largest markets so of course espn will promote them just for pure ratings. A USC vs SEC match up would be a monster ratings pull in the BCSNCG.

USC-SEC on ABC for the title would probably be the highest rated game ever. Unfortunately it would be on ESPN.

I don't think there's any more of a chance that we'll be ranked that high than this past year. We'll have to earn our ranking. That's not necessarily a bad thing. We're still gonna have a chance to knock off a couple of the highest ranked teams. A lot of good teams don't get that chance.

I could see top 5. There are questions on our defense, as always, but Haynes showed me something in the Cotton Bowl. Give him 9 months to install his terminology and his system, and our defense might be top 20.

Schedule is definitely in our favor.

People are quick to forget that Knile Davis was the SEC's leading RB in 2010. Dude has skills.

Will be back and supposedly has the highest draft stock of all of our WR's.

Humphrey, Wade, Horton((or is his name herden or some ish?), Funderburk RS'd this year, Gardner who has an amazing highlight reel juco, and hopefully DGB should fill the spot of Adams/Wright(I would say Childs also but he was pretty much a nonfactor until the cotton bowl when he started to look around 80-90%)

that will never happen. You guys will be lucky just to be top 10. I don't think you Arky fans live in a realistic planet.

You lose:

Jarius Wright, Joe Adams, Grant Cook, Grant Freeman, Jake Bequette, Jerico Nelson, Jerry Franklin, Elton Ford, and Tramain Thomas.

I mean damn, Your D is pretty much starting over.
