The only team you play in conference who would consistently buy their road allocation doesn't even play you on campus. (Oklahoma)
Bragging about your visiting opponent packing your stadium to beat you is quintessential aggie.

I'm sorry we don't worry about other teams? I'm personally fine with our schedule and don't have the egotistical approach y'all have, but we all know that's because a&m is hiding behind their opponents / taking vicarious victories through them because they can't achieve anything of their own.

We also still have multiple rivalries and play every Texas Power 5 team there is (sans A&M). A&M ran away after constantly getting abused by said Power 5 Texas schools, and does not have one single school consider them a rival (which is beyond sad). You're basically Pittsburgh with better in-conference opponents

Not scared:
Alabama
Florida
LSU
Arky
MSU
Ole miss
Mizz
Kentucky
Usc
Auburn
Vanderbilt
Tennessee
Georgia

Severely scared (embarrassment to the sec):
Texas A and Em

Tell me……what other team in THIS CONFERENCE would be a bunch of COWARDS?

Sad really.

And in the last 30 years, we got more competitive in the series, you think losing to a Mond is bad in the SEC, they lost twice to a Stephen McGee with a roster full of 3 stars with Fran as coach, that’s as bad as it gets
You lost to Case fricking McCoy in the last game of the rivalry, in your own house, in what was without question the single biggest event in A&M's school history.
In the last full decade (2000-09), A&M lost to Texas 8 times and didn't come within single digits ONE SINGLE TIME. A&M's largest margin of victory was 8...

Lol I swear y'all have the shortest term memory or are just willfully ignorant on this rivalry. Hell, I would be too if Texas's record in the rivalry was as pathetic as the aggies.

We just played Clemson out of conference. Has Bama ever scheduled a tough out of conference opponent? Why do they schedule scrubs like texas?

It’s been settled.

The reason bama schedules “scrubs like Texas” is because aggy is too much of a Pussy to admit it’s a pussy. They DONT want to play them…..no chest.

It should be a yearly match up.

Like after a big holiday where families get together?

Avoidance must be the state of Texas thing. Texas postponed this game like 8 years.

One thing some of y'all fail to understand for whatever reason is the sheer indifference towards playing the school in Austin for many A&M fans.

Maybe their program will be worth a damn again one day and that will change.

Why does anybody care?

Nobody bitches about LSU not playing The University Of Louisiana or Tulane.

It does LSU no good to play those squads.

Horrible take, LSU vs the instate schools are not a match.

Texas vs. A&M is a true in state rival series, in fact it was in the famous movie "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas"

Texas A&M does not want the competition and wants to buy the state of Texas and not win it on the field

you call it indifference.........

the sec calls it fear.

List of hated OOC rivals....one of these things is not like the other ones:
Gators don't fear FSU
Bulldogs don't fear GT
Wildcats don't fear Lou
Gamecocks don't fear Clem
LSU crushed every instate rival....guess we had to play....TEXAS
Texas A and Em won't even face UT in a bowl....

I usually side with you guys. But it has been long enough now. I think it is time to play your in state rivals like the rest of us do. You switched conferences and are better for it. New Disney/ABC/Espn tv contracts will kick in soon, and each of the SEC schools are about to get big raise from football revenue. We will make a lot more off of football per school than any other conference. You guys won that fight. A long time ago Bama and Auburn didn't play for a long time over bs. I hope you guys don't let it go on for decades like we did.

I thought everyone in Texas was tough.

That’s certainly not the case.

Won’t even face their fiercest rival.

That’s a huge estrogen issue.

Huh? It HAD to be OU from the Big 12. They were ranked next highest after K State.
