Some conflicting reports going on.

Kendall Rogers: Mark Reyes has signed with the Orioles

Matt Jones: Reyes said he has not talked to Baltimore since the day he was drafted, and he will play for Arkansas.

It's all fixed now, Rogers had his names mixed up.

Mark Reyes is coming to school.

Looks impressive for Arkansas, that is for sure.

As for LSU, it looks like we are going to be SALTY with pitching, and I can not stress that enough. We had three freshmen in our rotation last year and we add arguably the best incoming staff to boot.

However, it was a really weak class for our hitting, which we needed dearly

We're already beasts on Pitching, but we needed some big hitter in this class, and we got it.

Nimmo - we'll likely lose him
Bird
Serrano - Set the Arizona HS record for batting
Masters
Anderson

If Dillon Howard comes to school, which alot think he will, we'll have a top 5 starting rotation.

Baxendale
Stanek
Howard

To no surprise, James McCann will sign on the 15th with the Tigers.

Good for McCann. He will be greatly missed behind the plate.

McCann signed today for $600K. He'll be in the bigs before we know it.

43rd round pick Geoffrey Davenport has signed with the Indians for $100K, per Jim Callis of Baseball America.

100K is alot for a hurt guy in the 43rd round.

I getting nervous, Howard and Nimmos parents say they're nowhere close to a deal as of a couple days ago.

Howard is getting seriously recruited. Reeves and Serrano are playing with him in the Connie Mack WS.

How the frick did Reeves not get drafted?

Me personally, I think he is a Pretty good player, but it maybe a year or two before he gets significant innings. Pitching staff is too stacked right now.

Smart kid, or so I've heard.

Thanks for your input. I played with him in high school and I was just baffled that he signed with Arkansas. He was never any good in high school, in fact, he was terrible. But yeah you are right he is a smart kid.

Heck, he may never get on the team. We're still 18 players over the roster limit, and better players ahead of him.

If he doesn't he'll just take the Academic Scholarship he was offered.

That makes more sense, thanks.
