I’d personally rather NWA revert back to what it was 25 years ago, if that meant we could have a top tier college football team.

It is definitely much smarter to spend money on your community, rather than giving it to some teenagers.
I think you got downvoted so much because you said it to a crowd that wants money spent on sports rather than better water and waste treatment, roads and bridges, etc...as long as the team wins, right?

I doubt he gets drafted after just one good season. Injuries made him non-existent in 2023. Also a bad Oline and play calling.

Oh they are spending plenty of money in the community, that is a fact.
But the taxes are getting a bit high for many residents especially the property taxes.

What hurts the fan support in Northwest Arkansas is the transplants that have moved in.
I don't expect them to be fans when they haven't grown up here but they aren't replacing the older fans that have or will die off in the future.
So that leaves the area with people not born or raised in Arkansas that are fans or other college teams, pro teams and not sports fans at all.
