The refs took out momentum with their ridiculous play review on every positive play we made.

Wow. You're almost as whiney as Oregon and WVU fans. Poor baby had his offense slowed down and his team couldn't deal.

Come on. Big boy teams play through it. Arky has a better offense and staff than either of those pretenders. This is not a legit excuse.

In all fairness to the media.

If you dont reverse the fumble call.....

and we dont kick the field goal........

and we pull our starters somewhere in the third......

and we quit running those tricky half back dives........

and we pull all starting DBs and insert reserve linemen in our secondary........

and we kneel on it starting somewhere around the 14 minute remaining mark.........

Fair is fair.

It looked like Dennis Johnson's leg was down before the ball was out.

I found it odd that an entire game was played with no holding penalties called (IIRC).

There is no discussion here....there was INDiSPUTABLE evidence that it was a fumble . Anyone that disagrees obviously didn't watch the replay
this - Vern and Gary both called it a fumble after viewing the shot from the end zone.

Dale this game is gonna hurt you for a long, long time. I know how you feel. Been there before. On the cusp of moving to the next level and whish, it's gone. It's ok and you will get past it. It's just a game brother! Good luck with it!

Yes, his calve was touching the ground while he still had the ball.

We seen it go both ways, DJ Williams has his "wrist" touch the ground, so they say, and had a touchdown called back in the sugar bowl.

Actually it was just coming loose RIGHT before that. Even then, I'm not sure a calf is considered down if it's only that. Might have to be knee/butt for lower extremities.

No, been over it since Friday.

It doesn't matter according to the rant this time last year we would be lucky to finish with 7 wins and higher than 5th in the west, let me go check the standings.... we finished with the same record as last year.

Which is why I brought up the DJ call, if the wrist isn't part of the hand, then the calve shouldn't be considered part of the foot...

I'm guilty of this, I thought we were an 8 win team when Knile went down. I'm well pleased with is season, we still have. Ways to go to catch up with LSU and Bama.

LSU fans kill me, they were booing when JJ looked like crap and throwing shuttle passes over the top of the D. One of the Refs kept over ruling the obvious LSU homer refs calls and we were prepared to win this game.

Without those calls and reversals then it would have been a lot closer game. As far as what Petrino said? I have no problem with him cussing out a bunch of drug infested battery commenting criminals.

I'm looking forward to the bowl game and next season.

Overall, I do not believe we are losing as much from this team as we did from last years. We get Knile back, Dennis has shown he can be a strong #2 RB, we lose some good Defensive ends, WRs, a middle linebacker and a good saftey. All of these positions have shown throughout the season to have good replacements waiting for their chance to get the majority of the snaps.

I would like to have a different defensive philosophy in place, but they still are not giving up the big play like in years past and force more turnovers than we've seen from a defense in a long long time.

If we can remain a consistent 10+ win team, eventually the breaks needed throughout a season to make it to the SEC-C/BSCNC will come out way. Even this year LSU needed breaks to make it to the SEC-C and Bama needed breaks to remain in the BCSNC game discussion. The two teams could be reversed and the same would remain true had Bama received the breaks in their game against LSU.

As of right now the toughest two games will be Bama/LSU, both at home. The toughest road game will be Auburn/Carolina* if the SEC schedule doesn't change with the addition of the two new big12 flunkies.

It is hard not to be optimistic when looking at everything objectively.

CBS decided to blow that up because of Bobby's tone with Wolfson going into half when she asked a stupid question. There is not a more stupid creature in the world than a sideline reporter.

I totally agree with this statement. Also congrats to Arkansas on a good season (that I predicted). But Petrino is a shitbag. I have said this since 2001. Damn good coach but a shitbag. The way he acted at the end of the game was classless period. It would be interesting to see how many LSU fans would admit it if he was the LSU coach. FWIW Hallman was the coach at LSU when I was on campus and he had not problem asdmitting he was a shitbag.

You can love the Arkansas, the University, and football team and I respect that but he's still an a-hole.

Please, we beat you 10 out of 10 times. We could have spotted you 28 and won.

Fact is your team was overrated, and honestly not in our league.

Yes, but if you want to be fair and objective, we could point out how fricking arrogant Les has been towards Arkansas since he has been at LSU. His douchbaggary has ranged from intentionally mis-pronouncing our name to his comments this past weekend talking down the then ranked #3 team in the nation.

I will not wait for LSUfans to admit to Les being an arrogant douchebag because he is your arrogant douchebag, for this reason you should not wait or demand Arkansas fans to admit to Petrino being a "shitbag" as you describe him because even if it were true his is our "shitbag"...
