They'll be fun to follow .

First , Petrino being back tells you they're actually trying to get serious about winning again.

They went back to the only man in recent(ish) years that has brought them any kind of notoriety and success.

And if any of you forgot, they were one score away from many huge upsets this year. Had Bama and LSU within inches of losing.

All it takes is one good year in the portal.

Lol

Arkansas is following Texas A&M last year to a tee. Keep a head coach on that should have been fired. Hire Petrino to save the ship from sinking. Problem is… it’s already hit the iceberg. It’s only a matter of time now.

Nope, Petrino will be in full control of the offense. Fisher never had any intention of turning it over to anyone. Petrino had to learn fisher’s terminology and such.

Two differences though. First, Petrino will actually get to run his own offense here and Sam has made that very clear. Second, we’re clearly willing to hire him as HC unlike A&M considering we navigated all sorts of administrative loopholes to bring him back.

Honestly, if Sam gets fired mid season will BP be promoted. Sam will either be fired and so will BP, or BP will do enough to make Sam look better and he’ll be kept around.

Let the Arkansas sports board poster tell you how in control they are

Or you could just watch the interview where Petrino literally says it was Jimbo's offense all the way down to the meaning of certain terms that would have meant something completely different in his own offense.

Y'all have to admit, in the least, a mildly competitive Arkansas team is better for even an entertainment sense.

Yes because Petrino is a trustworthy fellow who has never lied to the masses before

It's hard to run any offense without an OL.

I’m pretty sure they quit after all those 1 score losses. The Mizzou and State games were bad.

If we could just get our offensive line figured out… Watch out.

Pretty sure we’d be bowling this year if our offensive line was at least below average.

Pull the anchors, tighten the jib, fly the colors and bring her hard to starboard (not that hard Aggie)

I can agree with this. I was under the impression ya'll had something going 3 years ago, turns out we simply didn't have a QB and some serious talent deficits on defense that year. Not so anymore, best of luck next season...you'll need it.
