I didnt think I needed to explain it, because I thought yall could use some common sense but I guess im giving to much credit to some of the posters on this site. They deserve to be ranked 3rd because they have only lost to the 2nd ranked team. You cant just rank teams based on the eyetest. Even though teams like Oregon and Oklahoma lost, you have to drop them below Arkansas since they are winning against mediocre competition.
well you know what when the Official Darryl James Rankings are released on your mom's refrigerator put us at #5

Remember guys: losing to Alabama is much worst than losing to powerhouses such as Texas Tech and Iowa State.

One of your rantarded colleagues suggested that Tennessee would beat Arkansas handily. I thought it was you my mistake.

I think that was tuptiger or something like that. A rantard has started a similar thread every game since our loss to Bama.

It isn't as bad as beating the teams on our schedule, we would be ranked #2, at least, and deserve the ranking if we lost to TT and Iowa State.

No you should rank teams based on who is better.
That is why its called a ranking and not a list.

false. Oregon and Upig would be a good game, but the Pigs probably beat them.

Oregon would probably destroy Arkansas..
Oregon is always overrated. Product of the pac-12 and beneficiary of playing teams with zero defense.

I would say that the outcome of LSU and Arky's games with Bama stand in slight contracst with one another. In case you haven't noticed, the rest of the conference is an absolute joke this year.
Need proof? UGA is clearly the fourth best team at this point, but couldn't beat a pretender Boise St team in an overglorified home game.. USC has been exposed as an absolute fraud, propped up by one player. The rest is just plain mediocre to flat out BAD. Beating UT, State, UF, UK, an Ole Miss like dogs is NOT an accomplishment this season. Just watch during bowl season. The SEC will be lucky to go .500 as poor as 5-8 are.
So, while I realize it has been a while since you guys played Bama, that is the only real comparison out there. Your Hogs failed that one pretty badly. They coudn't hang on the lines, and it wasn't even close. You couldn't run the ball at all, and Wilson took an absolute beating thanks to that.
So, after seeing Bama up close, and watching LSU play all season, do you really, honestly think that Dennis Johnson and this year's O-Line will carve up the Tiger D Line? This is not the same Hog team from last year, that had a solid O-Line and a great RB. You can shout "improvement" from the rooftop, but reality just doesn't agree (Vandy and Ole Miss, anyone). Considering that the Line and RB play were the reasons you won last year's game, and both of those elements are missing from this year's team, I have a hard time seeing this team walking in to Tiger Stadium and walking out with anything other than a similar result to the Bama game. Anything can happen in College Football, and the last few weeks underline that point, but if both teams show up and play their best games on Friday, logic dictates that the Tigers have some clear advantages in this one.
Extra Credit- Please point out LSU's last "bad" game or "ugly win." Feel free to take a look at the turnover margin and penalty statistics whle you are digging. Last year' team that continually sputtered and shot itself in the foot on offense is a thing of the past. Have you really improved THAT MUCH since Bama? We'll know on Friday.

Yall need to make it stop with all the omg SEC 123 nonsense. Them being ranked 3rd is the product of their schedule. They will be brought back to reality this Friday. Oregon, Oklahoma, Stanford are all better. Teams like Wisconsin, USC, OSU are slightly better but Arkansas could beat them. Arkansas could also be beat by teams like Boise, Michigan and TCU.
i like arky as the third best team. which of the other one/two loss teams lost to a program that had even an ok defense, much less the caliber of the one that blew out arkansas?
the ranking is deserved.
