Semi-legit but needs to be on the recruiting board.

Actually Arkansas is 7th in the SEC since joining.

How about since Petrino has arrived? Also, I wonder how well Bama or LSU would have done in 10 years under Nutt?

Yes, but he man who brought you your most recent division title, most recent SEC title, most recent BCS bowl win, most recent BCSMNC win, was.

Division titles don't mean anything and his last SEC title/BCS win was 10 seasons before he was fired.

We are doing it in the hardest division in the hardest league in history.

Auburn, LSU, and Bama have all won SEC and national titles in the hardest division in the hardest league in history. Arkansas hasnt done shite since they have joined it. You cannot compare them.

LSU and Auburn have only won when the division, conference and FBS level of football have been down.

Still puts them ahead of Arkansas.

Meanwhile, an up SEC means a losing season and no bowl for Tennessee.

Bad news is the SEC appears to be strong again this upcoming season.

Bite the pillow, the SEC is going in dry.

An up SEC means no SEC title for Arkansas.

But to be fair, a down SEC season also means no SEC title for Arkansas.

21-5 in two years over the past 2 years...

Granted these are some of the wins included in that 21:

Tennessee Tech
ULM
Ole Miss
Vanderbilt
UTEP
Missouri State
New Mexico
Troy
Ole Miss again

That's 9 gimme wins, and I won't count Vandy this year because they were at least respectable. Hell, you could count Tennessee in there twice because they are so down to make it 11 gimmes. So against even decent competition: (MissState, LSU, Bama, Auburn, SouthCarolina, Georgia, TexasA&M, OhioState, KState) They are 10-5 over the past two years...still very respectable, but 10-5 against top 25 competition isn't going to get you to "ELITE" status...

Bama-2
LSU-1
Auburn(championship year)-1
OhioState(Sugar Bowl)-1

Those were all eventual top 10 teams. The worst loss was the first Bama Loss. That is the only only one that really hurts our resume.

Tennessee only played Arkansas once the last two years.

Could have gone either way in my opinion. It's about the arkansas program. However it did seem to focus on our recruiting.

I can't stand how Arkansas fans like to claim to be at the top despite never having won anything worth a damn. Those same fans will tell me that Bama is more successful here recently b/c they have more national championships (nevermind that this logic puts Arkansas in the bottom half of CFB teams). Is it so hard to wait until you win the SEC to claim success? (13 years is a long time, so I can kind of understand). You're not on the level of Bama, LSU, UF, or Auburn yet, and you just need to stop dodging the facts and come to terms with reality

By the same token, I wonder how LSU or Bama would have faired in the cupcake laiden Southwest Conference. I would bet either would have had multiple 10 win seasons as well.

Cupcake laden?

The SEC used to be considered 3 or 4 best behind the SWC. Revisionist history is awesome.

Baylor in 80's was very good
Rice, Tech TCU when Whacker didn't pay people, were gimmies. Nice try look at Vandy, MSU, UK, and UT before Majors and UF before Pell tell me about cupcakes.

It works both ways
