And there is absolutely ZERO logic supporting that expectation. The last 10 years in the SWC, the record was 5-5.

Is this confidence and expectation born of your recent success against A&M? You think Arkie dominated the last two games? If we play last year's game 10 times what would the record be? Further, how does ANY of that change the future?

Coming from someone that is an expert at trolling Arkansas, I would recommend you don't actually address the points they are making. They aren't going to debate the merits of their suppourting arguments, or acknowledge the merits of dissenting argument.

It is more effective to simply try something like this;

The last 5 times piggie traveled to Kyle Field, they only won once. So based on history they have a 20% chance of winning. Since Jessica Dorrell is from Aledo and a family of Aggies, she was obviously an Aggie spy, and she did her job quite well. I basically give Arky a 2% chance of beating Texas A&M this year. Arkansas will be the new Ole Miss over the next decade. Book it.

depending on who we hire, i think we'll be fine.

QB: Brandon allen- 4*, Austin Allen- probable 4*
RB: Jonathan Williams- 4*, Donovan roberts- offer from OU
WR: Keon Hatcher- 4*, d'arthur cowan- offers from miss. state and alabama
TE: Hunter Henry- #2 ranked TE
dont feel like doing OL

DL: Taiwan Johnson- 4*, Darius Philon- chose us over alabama, JaMichael Winston- offers from michigan state, miss. state, louisville. Trey Flowers- Freshman all-SEC
LB: Otha Peters- 4*, Vin Ascolese- 3rd team parade all-American, Brooks Ellis- 4*
Secondary: Tevin Mitchel- Freshman all-SEC, Will Hines- Arkansas over mizzou, ray buchanan- offers from ole miss, maryland, illinois, miss. state, purdue.

I mean i realize we dont have the depth of other teams but our recruiting is good enough that we will be fine. At least its not like we'll fall so drasticly like everyone is predicting.

Yes you will. At least with Petrino you had some sort of buzz around your program. All it takes is one embarrassing loss and you won't be able to recover. You're Arkansas.

I count 26 seniors on the roster, so at the very least, the team will be one man below 85 next year.

Arkansas (pre-petrino)

2007- 8 wins
2006- 10 wins
2005- 4 wins
2004- 5 wins
2003- 9 wins
2002- 9 wins
2001- 7 wins
2000- 6 wins
1999- 8 wins
1998- 9 wins

Average- 7.5 wins

Texas A&M

2007- 7 wins
2006- 9 wins
2005- 5 wins
2004- 7 wins
2003- 4 wins
2002- 6 wins
2001- 8 wins
2000- 7 wins
1999- 8 wins
1998- 11 wins

Average- 7.2 wins

So even including your 11 win season we averaged more wins in a tougher conference. Both teams had questionable coaches. If we're arkansas then idk what that makes you lol

My bad. Forgot Danny Ford got there with an unranked 8-5 team. The SECW was absolutely putrid that year.

However, Nutt made two SECCG appearances as HC of the Hogs.

You disagree? The East had a steep drop off after UF and UT.
The SECW champ Arkansas had losses to SMU, UF, UT, LSU, and UNC.

aTm could have success in the SEC. I just don't understand why they didn't have more in the Big 12 the last decade.

I agree, They definitely have the resources to be successful, more so than a couple of SEC schools prior to their joining of the CONF.

Now, Arkansas and LSU are all up in their recruiting area. I predict bad things for A&M. Bad, bad things...

This makes no sense.

LSU has a solid natural recruiting base, and they already recruited Texas. I expect maybe only an extra player or two going their way most years.

Arkansas on the hand has only recruited Texas successfully in their history when they have a big rivalry game to sell. Texas won't play them (for that reason) and a shitty A&M like they predict won't move the needle enough to get recruits interested.

That is the irony about the Arky Complex - the best case scenario for Arky is one where A&M turns into a power. If A&M can become a big dog in Texas then the game against A&M will mean more and recruits will care more to play at Arky like in the SWC days.

I think the real problem is that Arky hates the same thing all those Big 12 teams hated when WE got the SEC invite- that we have so much potential that even with historical failure our future is brighter and our worth is greater.

The game is supposed to be about settling who is better on the field and A&M keeps getting around that.

Well the free ride is over...

And that is what is pissing off the faggots in Austin, Gaylor, blowU, Tards, and all the other butthurt bitches we left behind. They have made it a GROUP EFFORT and worked together to suppress "Aggy" for years and they frickING ADMIT IT and the have FAILED.

I read your whole post, quite amusing. You actually think that moving into a tougher conference will magically make you better. If you're banking on recruits coming to A&M just because they're in the Sec now, prepare to lose a lot of talent to Lsu and Bama.

If all they care about is playing in the Sec then why not go to a proven power, instead of a school that only boasts about having potential.

Because frick you...that's why.

They are from Texas. They want to play for a Texas team. They want to stay close to home but play with the big boys. They won't play for Arky because (other than frick you) Arky is too far from mama. Is it really that hard to grasp, or are you just in that river in Egypt?
