This is why I love this board. Auburn posters have been using this excuse all week about the defenses they've faced being bad and then they start this thread to trash Arkansas.

In our defense... (heh...)
LaTech has faced 4 top 50 offenses
2- Texas Tech
6- MTSU
33- WesternKy
41- Arkansas
with a 22- USM still on the schedule.
And...
Arkansas didnt face the #4 offense, they faced a somewhat well-managed handicapped version of that offense. (who's kicker was unfortunate enough to have missed 2 FGs, his only misses of the year.)
Anywhooo... hopin to see an Arkansas win here!

Arkansas was behind by 5 TDs by the time their offense started accumulating. Y'all were playing against our second teamers by the middle of the 3rd quarter.

The total defense ranks of Alabama opponents are pretty comical too
#34 - Kent State
#47 - USC
#64 - Arkansas
#85 - WKU
#88 - Tennessee
#97 - Kentucky
#104 - Ole Miss
(1 in the top 40... 4 outside of the top 80)
Just for fun, here's the total defense ranks of LSU opponents:
#12 - Wisconsin
#22 - Southern Miss
#30 - Auburn
#38 - Mississippi State
#100 - Missouri
(4 in the top 40)
They'll say "go look at the ranks before they played Alabama"... even though those teams have played 7 games so one game isn't changing that much
ETA: LSU's offense averages only 70 yards less per game than Alabama's offense, so again, one game isn't changing much..

First team to 21 points wins the game. Arkie can't play D very well and Auburn still starts a professional snowboarder (sarcasm alert for the slower posters on here) at QB and it shows. Hint to the Hogs, stop the run and you win the game. Now Auburn has one of the best OL's you'll see so that's no easy task, but if you can do it, you win.

All in all I think most stats are useless. Give me PF and PA those are the most important and of course W and the big one L.

nice job trying to make this thread about Alabama. Also, against Wisconsin, Auburn, and Mississippi State, your offense scored a total of 5 TD's. It's not like LSU is facing elite defenses and putting up big points. Your offense has struggled.

Was any of Bama's 1st team even on the field those last two drives? 130 of those 400+ you're boasting about was in garbage time down 25 points. I've been hearing that you can run the ball a bit. Didn't do that too well against a top defense.
