SMU is a better job than Arkansas. He can make the playoffs regularly in a weaker conference instead of trying to rebuild a lower-tier team in a stacked SEC

Probably has more to do with recent Memphis coaches who have won big there but then fall flat on their face at their P4 next step, than Silverfield himself. Fuente and Norvell both have pretty much flopped once they left Memphis.

I don't believe Silverfield is a good fit for Arkansas. I'd much rather have Chesney. My instincts tell me he'd be a great hire that would stay at Arkansas a long time.
Memphis has done well in a weak league. If they were still in a league with some of their former members, Louisville, Cincy and SMU, they'd be middle of the pack.
