Plus every recruit has probably seen the Petrino memes and gifs being resurrected. This is a bad idea long term even if he goes 7-0.

And? We have seen firsthand how good he is ourselves. And at this point it doesn't matter much anyways. This is who we are rolling with for at least the remainder of this season.

Doesn't sound like they hated the results they were getting. He was the first coach to have a winning record at MSU during his tenure since 1986-1994. They won the MVC for the first time since 1990 while he was there.
People keep trying to make his MSU tenure sound awful but they just make themselves look stupid.
The coach before Petrino went 13-42 there.
