I just saw the Hawgs September schedule. Two winnable games in WCU and Kent State, but then you get BYU, LSU, A&M. You guys think Pittman can go start September 5-0?? I think for sure, he’ll start 2-0.

LSU drew FSU, Grambling (winnable) Miss State, Arkansas, Ole Miss.
My gut says Arkansas might take it this year.

They'll start 3-0, but then drop the next two.

The LSU game was close last year, and that was with no KJ.

3-2 but the next 3 game stretch isn't a piece of cake either.
Ole Piss in Oxford
Bama in T Town
State first SEC home game Oct 21.

Who knows. We have decent talent but a brutal schedule. So pretty much the same as every year not coached by chad Morris.

Do you guys usually play LSU that early? I can’t remember the last time you played them first before us. We start with Auburn and get Bama first week of October. Usually we play them later in the year, Bama the last week of October. Found those minor changes interesting.

No. Very unusual

Super unusual. Bump.
I’m trying to get the Hawgs back on board!
Honestly, I got the Hawgs at 4-0 going into the Bobby showdown.

This should be the best roster Sam has had since he’s been here, but that’s on paper.
Too many variables to make a guess right now. I’m looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

Yeah, it’s the new coordinators for me. That was the wrench thrown in that I don’t know how to account for, so I’ll know more about the Hawgs when they play BYU. That game should be good and physical.

Arkansas shouldn't have a problem with BYU if they come ready to play.

Enos has been here before and did very well so I don’t think the offense will be a problem.
Our success will hinge on the defense imo, surely it can’t be as bad as our prior defenses.

BYU is a weird team, bc they are an older team. I think every player does like a 2 year mission before football. That’s their advantage. It’s a very interesting build.

Well that advantage didn't help them very well last year or the higher elevation.
They played a tough schedule last year and when they played Arkansas, they didn't have the talent or depth to remain competitive in that game.

We’ll be 3-2 at the end of all that
