Because even in Arkansas, gameday experience >>> watching it on the big screen.

Idiot LR fans say "we enjoy any game the Razorbacks will give us in LR, we support the Hogs". Then when we give them New Mexico, they don't show up. Central Arkansas is useless

tailgating in LR used to lap Fayetteville but these days they are about equal. Difference is Fayetteville has an entire bar district thats walking distance to the stadium, LR doesnt

Lol ok maybe saying Central Arkansas is useless is stretching things. But they do claim to support the Hogs no matter what, maybe they should open up their pocketbooks to write the checks their talk keeps promising

this and in fayetteville you don't get a lot of the riff raff that goes on in LR.

That was pretty much the case up until that cupcake game last year. The LR apologists had some kind of excuse for that, though. Blamed it on the UA.

My hope, as someone with Natural State Roots, is that Arkansas will just go ahead and add the extra 30,000 seats to the primary stadium in Fayetteville and put the whole "Two Stadiums, 1 Team " debate to rest.

Yeah, what kind of stuff? I was there for that game, and the empty spot in the stadium was the student section behind the band.

If you cannot afford the few hour drive, you likely shouldn't be spending your money on a ticket either (unless the tickets are really cheap in LR).

You do realize that article on A&M attendance is a couple years old right? A&M sold out every game last year and has already sold out every game for this year. They averaged about 86k last year and will do at least that this year (it's all about how much over capacity they can fit in). A&M is also about to do a major renovation to Kyle that will put it in the 95k plus range with the ability to go to 110k eventually. That is all with our team sucking AND having the most expensive tickets in the SEC (face value for Florida and LSU are $100 not counting donation).
