I still don’t care. I will watch, and I want to win, but it won’t bother me if we get bounced….except tomorrow. I want to beat Skenes again

I suspect that Arkansas and LSU already accomplished what they wanted in the tournament. Skenes will go, Smith will probably go, they go 80-100 pitches each, then the pens get work. There is enough baseball left since it is double elimination to pitch the rest of the starters 80-100 and get the pen some work, win or lose.

It’s good hitting and fielding practice and a chance to get some younger guys experience.

I think Jay is happy to see someone great like Smith and I think DVH is happy to see Skenes. It's great to have steel sharpen steel. I also think both teams are guaranteed 3 games so you can get work for everyone you want.

This. This is what I’m used to hearing from every IRL LSU baseball fan. Practical, realistic, thoughtful, extremely supportive, and a winning attitude. It’s just the message board LSU baseball fans that are nuts.
That said, in all other sports LSU fans are insane everywhere.
