I thought they were their but apparently their is a basement or mine shaft underneath...
Lesson to all sec teams and Big10 teams like Nebraska ... If you fire a stable coach, you can positively do worse...... don't fire your coach until you have a better opportunity.....

You guys fired mark richt(widely considered a good coach) and it worked fine, I think the lesson is cooler heads will prevail, don’t fire any coach without a legitimate backup plan.

The problem with conference jumping is when you jump to a conference where you on the furthest geographic edge and also don't bring any rivals with you.
Arkansas & Nebraska are the classic examples both have fallen on hard times and never gotten anywhere close to recovering past glory.
The reason I was ok with the SEC move is Texas still has our 3 primary rivalries even if the rivalry with Arkansas is not what it once was.

Do you actually believe Sam Pittman was a "stable" coach? You apparently haven't looked at his seasons at Arkansas. He onlyhad ONE good year and that was his second year. It was all down hill after that. You don't keep a coach with a .485 winning % and call it "stable".
