My fellow Hog fans may not agree, but something about Boogie Fland just wasn’t working on this team….he’s a great player, no doubt, but the team has played really good basketball since he’s been out. Unarguable fact.

You could (no exaggeration) quadruple that number of fouls called and still not actually be accounting for all the fouls that are going on. But tip of the hat to Calapari, if the officials are not willing to make the calls, Texas has to adjust... clearly that was the game plan for Arkansas and it's working

On both teams, not just Arkansas.

You're not wrong. However one team came out with the intention of not playing "basketball" and it through the other off... the officials allowed it early... and the game degraded in to a slum fest. Like I said, tip of the hat... completely took away Texas' game, which relies on letting their scorers play in isolation... but it's not a good metric moving forward... no way officials allow that kind of play come tournament time.. but it pays with certain crews to have Calapari be your coach

Refs killing hogs. Texas isn’t doing anything. It’s all refs

Hawgs managing to foul every single possession down the court. Amazing honestly

It feels like Shedrick is having the best game of the season.

I’ve had those kind of back spasms. It was mostly when I was married. They hurt like hell when I screwed up but didn’t hurt at all when I was going great. Funny how that works….

I think he was such a dynamic presence on the floor, guys like DJ, Knox, and Thiero had a hard time taking command of their own roles on the offensive end. They seemed to be waiting for Boogie to do something instead of being aggressive. With Boogie out, they all seem to have taken ownership of their roles and stepped up.
I'd also say that Boogie's injury coincided with Nelly FINALLY getting that wrist healthy. His shot looks completely different than it did the first part of the season. He was clearly compensating for the injury. Now that he appears to not be bothered by it, he's stepping into his shots with incredible confidence.
