If Arkansas can host their portion of the games in Little Rock, Mizzou should attempt to move their half of the games into the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis. A large portion of the students are back in St. Louis for break (along with plenty of alums), so I could see attendance being pretty good. We haven't played there since Illinois left their annual beating and started living in the cellar of the "Big 10".

This game is usually a low attendance game, interesting they chose Mizzou to play there.

Why move it if you can not fill it?

Seems more like playing it in Springfield at Missouri State's stadium is the better call

Play it at Plaster Stadium (seats about 18,000) and have it sold out instead of an empty Dome. Hogs and TAMU in Jerryworld not only has ties to Arkansas but TAMU travels well for that game. Kind of embarrassing if you play in a dome in Saint Louis and it is empty.

Sounds good to me. Playing in Columbia without the Rock M there anymore would have been off anyway.

Faurot Field actually has a larger capacity than the EDJ Dome... either way i'm just speaking from experience. Even though I usually make the ride to COMO for the game many people don't and choose to stay in St. Louis over the short holiday break. Being on black Friday (and in recent years, pretty early in the morning) kind of puts the game at an awkward in-between time. This is essentially bringing the action to a location that isn't an empty college town, where a good amount of the student population migrates too.

The Dueling Banjos Bowl should be held in a remote location.

The City of Springfield, Missouri's chamber of commerce presented dignitaries visiting the city with an "Ozark Hillbilly Medallion" which declared the dignitary and honorary "hillbilly of the Ozark."

Ozark High School, in Ozark, Arkansas nicknamed all sports teams "Hillbillies" or "Ozark Hillbillies."

You're both a bunch of banjo-picking, tobacco-spittin', Jed Clampit, hog-riding hillbillies.

Conventions that use the dome. I remember hearing when the Rams first left that the city will actually make more revenue due to conventions they couldn't host for 10 weeks out of the year.

The Dome was always filled playing against the Illini, and I feel like the Arkansas fans would travel. However, besides the fact the Dome is a terrible venue, college games should be played at college stadiums.

Now that the game was moved from F-ville to Little Rock we won't be attending anymore, even if the trip is easier with a direct flight.

Knock on wood, but the new MLS stadium would be a good spot for the Arch Rivalry and The day after Thanksgiving games.
