Anyone who thinks Ohio State isn’t a legit program is a fricking moron. They’ve won 2 titles in the CFP era which is already tied for 2nd best along with Georgia and only behind Alabama.
They’re one of the very few programs that have managed to not have a slew of mediocre years since the BCS era. From 2000-2008, Alabama and Georgia were up and down programs and neither of them made it to the national championship game. OSU made the national championship twice in 2002 and 2007 during that 8 year period.
As unhinged as their fanbase, they’re a premier program.
They’re one of the very few programs that have managed to not have a slew of mediocre years since the BCS era. From 2000-2008, Alabama and Georgia were up and down programs and neither of them made it to the national championship game. OSU made the national championship twice in 2002 and 2007 during that 8 year period.

Ohio State hasn't lost more than 2 games in a season since the Luke Fickell interim year.
Neither Ryan Day nor Urban Meyer had a 3 loss season.

Washington had a MASS exodus and fall in recruiting immediately after and has been below average at best since then. They are closer to the garbage tier than decent currently.
They don't have any big donor money and the full payout from the big ten to compete isn't happening til like 2030. They suck.

What is hilarious is the first time they play a currently ranked team is Oct 11th, and then they dont play another until after THANKSGIVING.
