All 4 of these teams grinded their arse off to get here and I think its pretty entertaining to see. Just gives teams every year the possibility to make a run and win it all regardless of seed. If you cant enjoy march madness, then as a sports fan you got problems!

Yep. Not our fault and we loved it. But no, if I were ESPN I wouldn't have been happy with the matchup. Meatchicken would've had better viewership and they likely would've made most hang around at least until the third, though they didn't play much better the year before.
So yes, I'm sure the fans of those schools are highly into this Final Four, but not the country at large. It won't pull in people who don't watch any sport that's on TV. So no, CBS didn't want this.

Miami and FAU - Miami #18 , Orlando #17, & Tampa #13 ; ACC and Conf USA
UConn- #1 New York and #10 Boston; Big East
SDSU- # 27 San Diego and #2 Los Angeles; MWC
The ratings will be fine. This isn’t Football; UConn is from the Big East and is one of the top basketball programs year in year out. Miami will have the ACC draw.

If the Final Four was Duke, Kansas, UNC, and Kentucky I wouldn't watch a lick of it. Since it is FAU, SD State, Miami, and UConn I'll watch every minute of it.

I am excited about any playoff that actually determines the champion by the game itself.
Not by a computer or a poll or a group of old men discussing who should be the top 1-5%.
The essence of sports is that competition on the field is the only thing that eliminates you from the title chase.
Not the “eye test” and resumes.
So, yes - I love this final four. Just as much as I love every final four.

It would be funny as hell if FAU or SDSU are able to do something certain other schools still haven't accomplished.
