Are women basketball players of today better than mens basketball players 50 years ago?

I think they are. They are more skilled.

The phenom that is Caitlin Clark has turned the game up on its head and has shown us girls can compete too.

Women are just better than men, period. Especially white men.

Am I doing this right?

I think so too. Basketball technique has come a long way. Plus African Americans can play now and they're much more athletic. Caitlan faced better competition than Pete did.

Is this the fifth melt thread about LSU having the top scorer in men’s basketball history? Or sixth?

Either way, we gotta be approaching a record of our own.

That's some irony for ya.

So black people didn't play college or pro basketball in the 60s and 70s?

I’m enjoying this newfound appreciation for women’s basketball from the SECRant now that a LSU basketball player’s record is the main topic

1974 NBA Allstars

Put forth your best women’s team of today. Look at the players in the link.
Then admit you are a moron.
Or congratulate yourself on hooking me.

The women of today would lose 120-30.

Looks like some chick named Gail made the NBA All-Star team 50 years ago.

I agree with you about basketball technique being better and Caitlin Clark has proven that by outperforming every male player ever.

Mr Naismith would be shocked by all of this.

We're not comparing Pros to collegians. We are only comparing college athletes.

LSU is a women's basketball school now. I don't know why they can't give the girl her due. Sad.

Today's women's basketball players are more skilled than men's basketball players before full integration.

I’d like to see today’s best women in the paint with Marvin Barnes and Bill Walton. Or trying to keep up with David Thompson, Adrian Dantley and John Lucas.

You are dense as hell.
