Are we just going to ignore the Bama catch after he went out of bounds?!?

Think it was Ridley? Have literally seen 2 other instances over the weekend where that was called and a penalty enforced on the offense. But not Bama?!?! Wtf?!? The ref was even down by the end zone with his hat off!?!

Are we just gonna ignore the clear pick Bama got that was not even reviewed that would have pretty much ended the game. How about the pass interference on the hail Mary. Find the interference on that one.

The lineman throws his hat down anytime an eligible receiver runs out of bounds. He isn't the judge of whether he went out on his own or was shoved. However, if they determine the WR was moved out of bounds by the DB then it is legal to come back and catch the ball as long as you re-establish position. We know that for a fact because about 15 minutes later the referee clearly explained that Ridley's catch was not a catch on 3rd down because he went out of bounds and was ruled to have done so on his own and NOT be pushed out.

Don't forget the facemask committed after the touchdown against #70 - got his helmet pulled clean off. But the flag goes against Bama.
