EVERYONE knows what a ln opening game challenge CARK was and not to mention ULL.

Look, everyone has shite OCC games and don't act as if your shite teams are better than any other shite teams.

The late season cupcake is an SEC tradition.

I hope the 9 game league schedule that starts next year fixes this.

Its a huge mistake going to 9 conf games. It means SEC will be penalized in the rankings.

No other conf has as deep of teams as SEC. Look at the bottom half of B10 compared to bottom half of SEC its not even close.

B10 can do it because they a lot of soft teams whereas SEC has depth.

At end of season most rankers only look at wins and losses and not schedules.

Damn what a gross slate of games.

Meanwhile, Ohio State is a 33 point favorite against IN-Conference Rutgers.

The nine game schedule looms like a death knell for the SEC.

Finally....an intelligent response from a sooner fan. Couldn't agree more.

13 seasons in and Mizzou still hasn't learned the art of the late season cream puff bye week.

Maybe yall really don't belong in the SEC.

I'll be posting a SoS thread later tonight most likely, but these games won't be included until next week.

These kinds of games don't provide any value to SoS, so other teams will have a change to jump in the rankings since they probably played their FCS opponents early in the season.

Yep, the overall win% of the conference is going to drop. These people are bad at math.

Love how Sooner fans use the term Mizery so much. Holy shite, Oklahoma is one of the most miserable, sister-banging meth holes I've ever visited (Many times). Please know you are referring to Oklahoma when saying Mizery. Fact!

I guess the OP's calendar doesn't go back to September and August.

The reason some schools are playing cupcakes this week is largely down to television: ESPN wants conference games in September: there aren't enough OOC home games involving P4 teams in order to make the September TV slate interesting on its own, so we move up some conference games in order to accommodate the Mouse. The Big Ten and most other leagues stack all their non-conference games before conference play.

Congrats on beating KU. Not everyone in our league found that to be an easy task in recent years.
