I guess that makes LosingSeasonU A&M's farm team by your logic. Max says hello

You might be right. We’ll see what he does here. At the end of the day, Slusher came in when Catalon got hurt and has looked really good. With Catalon coming back and Slusher, Foucha wasn’t going to play much.

Brooks also lost his starting job late in the season to freshman Jayden Johnson, so we aren’t too worried about losing him either.

They were both benched multiple times this year.

Guaranteed touchdowns for Arkansas next year. Anytime we played a QB with a pulse they lite us up and that’s with dropping 6-7 in coverage

Hate it for these kids they will go 6-6 next year while Arkansas starts the year ranked top 15 and win 9 or more games again

I’m not expecting him to start but he’s just a freshman so he has a lot of time to develop left

Max was sent down to Triple A.

If you notice, Aggie usually gets LSU's leftover coaches too.

Well he isn't telling a lie. They did lose starting spots during the year to younger players.

And Coverage is not their strong point.

They are solid coming up tackling and blitzing though.

I mean I saw that Foucha was your leading tackler during the Outback Bowl and Brooks was up there as well.

I just think its dumb when a fanbase desperately tries to pretend that a transferring player wouldn't have got any playing time, was bad, or was asked to leave.

That isn't directed at Arkansas fans, everyone does it.

Equally as bad is when the other team's fans try to pretend the transferring player is some incoming superstar.

I expect these guys to have much the same role at LSU as they would at Arkansas.

On a funny note, LSU must've had a bagman at the Outback Bowl as they've now got 3 transfers that played in the game.

I remember when Coach Fisher turned down the LSU job, twice.

Jimbo Fisher, another former LSU coach that A&M hired.

So a team that refers to itself as DBU is now taking players from a team they view as "inferior"
Or
We have more depth than you and you have those guys because we have better available.

Either way it's not a good look for you.

I think for the most part...we are just being honest with you.

They come up and tackle well but they struggle in coverage.

It was leaked that one of them was given a deadline to decide if he was going to return. The day of the deadline the player asked for a few more days to decide and was told no he had to decide by the end of the day.

Yes they were going to play...but they were going to be pushed hard for their starting positions. Slusher had probably already earned the spot as the 2nd safety over Foucha by the end of this year.

The young guys this year look to have much more potential so a lot of us are looking forward to seeing them step up next year.

I appreciate the hard work they put in to help get our program back to winning, and they were a big part of it. But I also feel good about the young guys coming up to replace them.

I'm not going to lie, I would have loved to keep Joe for depth, that said that is what he would be. I dont think he beats out the others for a starting spot.

Joe was an asset in the 3 2 6 set, personnel wise. Had some help in coverage which isn't his strong suit. As tough and as hard a hitter back there as you would want, but he gets burned.

Heck speaking of, it was Joe who gave up the long wide open bust to give Penn St their first TD. And he did it several times in big situations. I wish him luck. He's a striker.

Sucks losing Foucha. Brooks doesn't hurt as bad.

I think it's the exact opposite. We have 3 guys that can step in for Foucha and do as well if not better. Same can't be said for Brooks. Brooks is a bit feast or famine though. Either makes a great play or blows the coverage.

Solid landing spot for them though. I'm sure they will start for a lower tier SEC team like LSU. Happy for you guys and the young men for getting to go home and I hope they do well.

I am LOL at the Arky fans who think these boys will actually start at LSU. They might see PT in certain situations, but they are not starter material for LSU
