It's snowing outside here in Lexington right now. Hope this helps

That will definitely help teams like Georgia and Ole Miss.

UTk- should they luck up and get into the playoffs- would definitely have problems with cold weather.
This past Saturday they went into a tizzy that their heated bleachers had stopped working. It’s cold!!! they squealed. It was 55 degrees!
Even the tv commentators had fun with them. Once the heaters started working again a few minutes later, they said that thankfully the frostbite warning has been called off on the Vol sideline. Too too funny! What a bunch of wimps!

South Bend's average is high of 35 and low of 22 on December 20 baw. And it's upcoming forecast is lower than typical averages, 28 is high and 18 is low with snow showers on December 3

Big ten teams have never played outside in the winter either.

They also have lesser athletes and coaches.

Wow, you're even bigger pussies than I thought.
35 Degrees, oh no !
It gets plenty cold in the south in the winter, and it's a damp cold which feels even colder than the same temperature in the north.
Already making excuses that you lost because it was 35 frigging degrees?

I was in the Army for 20 years and lived all over.

It took time getting my lungs climatized to running outdoors in New York, high elevation in Afghanistan, and Germany in December.

Whereas running and sprinting outdoors in Alabama, Louisiana, and Georgia during December was great and easier to breathe.

Seems like SEC players in NFL adjust pretty well. Don’t see a problem.

They are not at altitude and they don't practice in 30 degree weather.

Ya, just look how the Dolphins(Tua, Achane, Waddle, Raekwon, Tyreke(West Alabama is SEC weather), etc) held up in Kansas City in January

I have lived in Ohio for many years. First of all, the first 10 Big 10 games are not played in really cold weather. Later in the year they are no more used to it then an SEC team. In late November or early December they are just a cold as a team from the south. People need to realize this and quit referring to this like midwesterners are Inuits from Alaska.mn

Penn State is the furthest north grass field and they have never played a game in December.

This is all fan fiction. It’s not like Ohio state has been playing games in ducking January outside.

Maybe this is a thing in 10 years or something but there’s not advantage now.

Frankly I wouldn’t put it past these rich SEC schools to build indoor snow facilities to practice in the cold just in case.

NFL players have no choice when they’re traveling every year to New York, New England, Chicago, Green Bay, Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cleveland, Philadelphia in December and January.

Any athlete who’s trained outdoors up north knows it’s a night and day difference compared to down south on a December morning.

People think about Indiana's brand and who they've played,

The only Big 10 team that they have played so far that has a winning record (overall ) is Washington. They have or will play (with Purdue) the bottom five of their conference .. Then throw in FIU, Charlotte and Western Illinois and that is an absolute joke of a schedule. Outside of OSU ... They aren't facing anyone in...top 40

ETA PSU Isn't much better.... They have played OSU and ILL. But already beat the team that doesn't know how to mark the back of an end zone (1 win Purdue)

This is a dumb narrative. PSU doesn’t ever play in that weather either
