Looks like we do pretty much own Ttown. But I don't expect gumps to be too good with history or numbers.

LSU is 11-5 against Bama in the state of Al. since sending the "Bear" into retirement with a loss in 1982.

You would have to go wayyy back to the leather helmet era to even up the series in Al.

Why don't you queers understand it's always fun to frick with you LSU fans? We're used to gearing up for championships. In the meantime, you all are easy targets. Roll Tide!

Saban has turned his former job into a personal play toy.

You know, this post only reinforces the perception that Alabama fans have nothing to live for other than college football

ALL home field advantages are overrated. I was listening to Tom Hodson speak once and they asked him about playing in the SEC venues. He said the field is 100 yards long and 53 yards wide. The exact same dimensions he had a LaFourche, the stands just were larger.

There are 2 advantages in football, the turnover margin and penalties. Back when players took trains to away games, etc. maybe. Once players stayed in their dorms the night before a home game. Now most, if not all go off campus to a motel out of town just like the visitors do. No advantage there. You may have to get used to the lighting and footing but that's what pre-game warmups are for. THIS MYTH is the most overrated in football that the team playing at home has a somehow got 7 more points magically on the board before it starts. No, it isn't nearly the big deal people make it out to be.

SEC stadiums like tiger stadium, BDS, the swamp (when the team is good) and auburn's are loud as shite when the opposing team's offense is on the field.

that is a definite advantage IMO. the LSU/Bama game this year was loud as hell when bama fumbled at the 5 yard line.

In my lifetime, Bama and lswho are tied 12-12 in games played in Alabama. Also in my lifetime, Bama is 21-5-1 in BR. Overall Bama vs lswho head-to-head record in my lifetime: 33-17-1 in favor of Bama. All-time Bama vs lswho record: 49-25-5 in favor of Bama. Total SEC championships? 24-11 in favor of Bama.

There is simply no comparison.
