This is the theme that will last all through spring and fall practice, with many wishing it were true, that LSU will not be that great. Not so fast my SEC friends! LSU has the formula for success and the guy who can develop their QB in Coach Munoz who Burrow credited for much of his success. Read'em and weep baws, LSU will be kicking dat SEC Arse again this year!

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming melt, that's your cue CajunBama.

Are you trying to convince yourself that without Burrow and Brady there won't be a decline?

All these threads being started by various fan bases about our "decline?" just further confirms our dominance.

They so scared.

I dont know either way where LSU goes after this year. Could be a dynasty or could be a Chizik. Neither do you

LSU fans were just learning about the benefits of Munoz from Burrow, then we learned Brennan had been lighting it up in practices just like Joe. Not good news for your baws.

I think we have 20 years of data that suggests LSU will continue to be pretty good, as a baseline.

Unless you think we won't be able to find more talented football players going forward ...

Throw in their all-american running back, starting wide receivers, and best DB...nah, there won't be any drop off.

I'm sure there will be no drop off at Bama either

We saw what your staff could do with a QB prior to Brady.

Not worried.

Any LSU fan with sense realizes we will in all likelihood take a big step back next year. When that happens you'll wish you had enjoyed this season instead of worrying about next year

There is nothing in recent history to support sustained dominance by LSU.

LSU has never won the SECCG in consecutive years. In the last 10 years LSU is more likely to finish 3rd in the west than 1st.

Just enjoy the present. LSU just finished the most impressive season of all time. Nothing can ever take that away.

decline? I guess technically Auburn declined in 2011 from 2010, but it was more back to par than a decline.

Looking at their schedule, they'll probably lose at least 2-3 games.
Reasons being Burrow along with other key pieces are gone.
The desire & drive will not be as strong. They'll still be in the honeymoon phase.
Also, they'll get every opponent's best performance since their the defending champs.
It'll still be a good season & they'll represent the SEC nicely in the Citrus or Outback bowl.

Who are you trying to convince with this whine?

Bama/UGA or LSU fans?
