Cows graze near Comer Hall on the campus of Auburn University.

Apparently, the nickname works in many ways. I'm not sure if that's well played or lucky.

Auburn is known for engineers, agriculture majors, veterinarians, etc.

Alabama is known for lawyers, journalists, etc.

Take your pick.

They had to move the cows farther out of class view; the Dean deemed them a distraction to the women-less student body.

It's because they are a cow college.

ETA: This was not meant to be a pejorative (maybe a little). I'm in agriculture, but I sure as hell didn't get my degree from Auburn.
