Not even close. Considering where we were at before he arrived, he's at least somewhat improved the program. He's definitely brought talent in. He just doesn't seem able to get the most out of said talent. I really want him to succeed here, but results have been less than what was expected when he arrived. Another subpar season (which seems likely) and his seat is going to get very warm.

Yea, I think most of us are reaching the point where we realize it is what it is, but saying he has been a disaster is laughably stupid.

And yes, it is true. He hasn’t done shite since he has been there.

Well except he got Collin Sexton and a tourney bid (and win) out of it. Outside of that though not looking great

He took over a team that went 31-33 (15-21) the previous 2 seasons and had winning records his first 2 seasons and then went to the NCAA Tournament in his 3rd season, the first for us in almost a decade.

That's a disaster for Duke. That's not a disaster for Alabama.

Sexton might cost them more than it is worth for one tourney win.

Even if this did happen the program would be in a better place than it was just before he got there.

It's alabama basketball, they have nothing to lose. For them making the tourney and winning a game in is absolutely worth it even if the NCAA does something (they will get a slap on the wrist probably at worst).

Avery has been solid. Not a disaster imo. Johnny Jones was a disaster

I'm a Bammer that cares about basketball....in it's proper season.

We're getting in the real heat of college football season right now. Most of the pretenders have fallen by the wayside and now's the time as a fan to be seriously entertained during the championship run.

Yea, he hasn't torn down the program or anything. If anything he has strengthened it overall, especially from a roster depth standpoint. He just has shortcomings and I'm not sure he'll ever get past them. And I don't think we can be much more than a perennial bubble team with them, which is what we've been all 3 years he's been here.

So, not awful or terrible, but not good either. And something that the longer it stays the same really starts to fester.

I'm about as upset about that as you are about losing the Iron Bowl last year.

Bruce is good as gold. If the navigated the FBI where his Asst HC was indicted AND got through the NCAA investigation (with his ncaa history) where 2 of his players were benched for a season and 2 Asst coaches were canned, then he's good to go.
