He was offered more than last year and allegedly told he would be getting less playing time (not starting). He does a lot of things good, but nothing he does is really elite. He was a day 1 starter because Mosley, the #1 transfer, missed the first 4 games.
Most people were surprised when his happened.
Sark has been consistent on this point; once you head to the portal, there is no coming back.
There was reference to some social media comments inferring parental influence; "... out of his control." Might of over played his hand.

I admit with the holiday time off I am behind on this one.
Livingstone was an absolute beast for the horns. I think he's tied for most TD receptions for 2025, and he seemed to be one of Arch's favorite targets or at least a security blanket.
This one surprises me and while I know it's the business of CFB now with NIL in play this seems to be one of those examples where it isn't great for College Football and a fan KNOWING and following a TEAM. Thats nothing against him or the longhorn team, it just is hyper free agency in college football which is off putting in my estimation.

Nagy isn't doing enough. The QB market is moving pretty quickly, if you don't act fast OU is going to be stuck with Mateer again.

Houston Chronicle just said he's signing at OU for 800k and Texas offered 400k. He averaged 2.2 catches for 38 yards last year and everyone's acting like Texas let Jerry Rice walk.

What is it with OU fans hanging banners so early in the process? Long way to go. The TE Texas just got from Michigan state is 80 spots higher than your boy from Florida.

Mateer was good enough to get OU to the playoffs which is more that Arch did. A healty Mateer with a year under his belt sounds pretty good. Dillion Gabriel made a big leap from year 1 to year 2. Bowe Bently will be ready too.
