He's poised to become the richest college athlete of all time. With his last name, and celebrity already through the roof, this kid is gonna get endorsement deals out the arse.

Sarkisian promised him $2 million. That's just a fraction of what this kid is gonna end up making per year.

I'm sure we'd all like him to commit to our school, but honestly, if he's smart he would commit to Texas. There's so much marketing potential in Austin. If Archie goes to Texas, and plays like a Heisman candidate, he may well end up making $10 million plus

We're approaching an era where star QBs in college might make enough money to where they consider staying 4 years before leaving for the NFL. Who knows? But Archie is going to set the precedent for how much a player can make with NIL, that's for sure. It's going to be interesting...

That's true and he may go to Texas but Archie Manning is also one of the few kids out there who is unlikely to make the choice based on NIL deals. He will get paid wherever he goes but more importantly he doesn't need the money. He will go where he feels is the best fit for him.

how does a head coach promise a recruit 2 million dollars? Even with NIL in place, that's not exactly ok under the new rules.

Yeah I read an article about him a few weeks ago. He is really focused on academics. I wouldnt be surprised if he ends up at Notre Dame

He will make much more than that playing for Texas.

Not only will he be rich, but coming to Texas will increase his brand via the the platform Texas will give him. He will be a celebrity.

Then there is the Sark effect. The kid will get coached up.

I get giddy just thinking about it,

Has zero eligibility left...

..Arch Manning, however, does and will hopefully go to a school who knows how to differentiate him from his Grandfather.

Great point. Peyton Manning went to Tennessee and nobody has ever heard of him since.

He’s a good QB but if his last name wasn’t Manning he’s a 4 star.

We already have our QB for 2023. And seriously, Weigman will be just fine for us this coming class. Thanks for your concern, mediocre cows
