I do think he's a bit overrated due to his name. He's good though.

Smells like a future Chris Simms situation.

Not necessarily a bad thing. Simms was a solid college QB.

Can't think of a better fit for an overrated QB than the sips, both getting by off what was accomplished decades ago.

In all seriousness, this shows where Ole miss football is in minds of people.
Eli (Cooper was not rated very high) was the only Manning great to go to Ole miss in the footsteps of the greatest legacy the school has. Never will there be a more revered player than Archie and all these Mannings go elsewhere.

Ole Miss is just an after thought and I've always wondered why.

I was at UT for the Kansas game in November. I thought the gameday experience was very lame and watered down compared to LSU and some other SEC schools. And then Kansas won that night.

I thought Cooper was a highly rated WR, are you sure?

Yes we do. It is very legal and we have the money to back it up.

At this moment price of West Texas crude oil is $104. It's down a couple of dollars so the walk ons may have to settle for Chevy Malibu's. Belt tightening time.

Realistically, how do Longhorn fans see a Ewers/Manning QB situation playing out? Is Manning really going to sit for a couple of seasons behind Ewers?

Hope this isn't a surprise to anyone. This was in the bag last year. The hiring of Sarkesian was perfect for him.

I hope he does well and lives up to the hype. All the games i saw him on ESPN were pretty "blah" IMHO. I don't see much past the name, but I'm not an evaluator of potential talent in a Power 5 Conference.

He's going to redshirt. Has no problem with sitting, already been discussed.

Ask Texas fans if they feel the same way.

Nothing wrong with guys wanting to make a name for themselves elsewhere on their own merits.

Such a deep QB room they had to bring in Max Johnson from LSU to start?

You must be an abject moron if you think LSU ever expects a Manning to ever come here

He didn't have to tell LSU to frick off. We knew and they knew he wasn't ever going to be a Tiger

Would you want to go to a school where the speed limit is set by your grandfather's jersey, etc?

That's not a great look imo. Number one prospect in the country gives up on competing for the starting job before even getting on campus, get the frick out of here. This isn't the 70 or 80s.
