I feel ya with this man. Peyton going to TN really hurt my heart. It’s complicated because we all should respect these kid’s decisions but this is the SEC and when a legacy goes with another SEC team, it is very hard to reconcile that. I’m trying to remember if this kind of thing like Peyton choosing TN has happened to any other SEC teams and I can’t think of any.

Do you think he would’ve gone to Ole Miss if y’all didn’t have looming sanctions?

He has genuine interest in UGA. Don't be surprised if UGA ends up a finalist for him.

Was it Arch who said he liked LSU on the Book of Manning doc when they had all the grandchildren sitting together?

Yes, and grandpaw looked over at him like he'd cut a loud fart in church.

Will throw 4 4th quarter TDs against Auburn in JH stadium to lead LSU to a comeback victory.

He's not going to any of those. He will be a Blue Devil

Agree, Cutcliffe has a likely shot. Coached both Peyton and Eli, just got Daniel Jones taken in the first round.

"Mannings don’t have a great relationship with coach O"

Coach o is a completely different coach. he isn't challenging his team to fight him.

"In all seriousness, I really respect the way him and his parents are handling the recruiting process. The kid has no social media accounts and doesn’t do any interviews."

Yeh, he does. he just has private accounts. this recruitment is just really crazy because he was in like 6th grade and a video of him at ole miss surfaced and got 2 million views.

a UT referred to ole miss football players as a bunch of mules and when asked about Archie, responded “Archie who”?

That was Steve Kiner, All-American linebacker. He was one of the meanest and toughest guys to ever play for UT.

He got traded or kicked off about 4 NFL teams because he was such a hard-fisted hot head. Kiner was one of those guys you did not want to fight on or off the field.

Bum Phillips finally settled him down in Houston for a productive career. He was credited by Phillips "for turning the Houston Oilers into winners".

After football he earned two master's degrees and got involved in health care, managing emergency psychiatric services for Emory Healthcare at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.

3 years is a long time but this is the first Manning we’ve ever had a legit shot at. Would be cool to have one play for LSU.

As for LSU, I think a lot will depend on what happens with Jamie Howard's son.

LSU Offers 2022 QB Walker Howard

Considering Grandpa, Dad and Uncle Eli went to Ole Miss, I find it highly unlikely a Manning will ever attend LSU, regardless of who LSU is recruiting or if LSU wants him.

Nah, I'm good with him going elsewhere. I'd prefer not to have to root for a Manning. I did that enough as a kid rooting for the Saints and watching Archie.
