Ole Miss needs to play close attention to where them and Bama fall in the playoff rankings this week because if they are behind Bama and TN beats GA they can probably forget about getting a playoff spot.

This is why the SEC wants 4 teams guaranteed if we go to a 14 team playoff and why the SEC screwed up not getting a 3 team minimum in this format.

Any of the 16 SEC teams would skulldrag SMU.

That’s right, State would.

Sec is getting 4 teams in or sankey will be done with the ncaa. I don't care if BYU loses to Colorado on a 70 yard last second field goal aided by a terrible call from a ref, no one can watch BYU play and think they are legitimately a top 12 team or deserve to be in if they have any losses. The interesting argument will be what happens id the sec championship loser has 3 losses. Will they get in?

Indiana should be ahead of Penn State

Boise and SMU should be ahead of Miami.

These polls have become more irrelevant than even just last year.

There are so many teams, including the Ags, that are on a w or you’re out footing.

I have to say I hated the idea of 12 teams but this season has been exciting as hell and I HOPE following seasons will have this (edit: level of)seamen excitement.

Ole Miss would beat the breaks off of Oregon, Indiana, BYU, and Notre Dame

Outside of ATM, Notre Dame played a ranked team?
why would you say "outside of A&M"?

Winning @A&M is way more than a lot of these top ten teams.

The moral to the story is to play no one with a pulse and you will be rewarded

None of these teams would be .500 in the SEC

Indiana
BYU
Miami
SMU
Boise State
Colorado
Army
Clemson
Washington State
Kansas State
Louisville
Tulane

FACTS!

Yep

If LSU played Southern Miss instead of Southern Cal to open the season, we'd be ranked around 14-15 after last night's loss, with 3 winnable games left on the schedule to get to 10-2. In perfect position to get the 10th or 11th seed; it would be a road playoff game, but still in the field.
Instead, we're still alive for Atlanta, but going and winning that is our only path.

Texas has not beaten a team currently ranked in the AP Poll.
