Let’s win the series first before laughing. This was a historic win though, especially against a good ou team.
It’s always good to beat ou.

No doubt. This sooner team had an off night, but they have shown the ability to come back and get the next 2.

Baseball is already kind of boring.

Watching two teams I don't care about play each other sounds HIDEOUSLY boring.

Non-baseball people just don’t get it. When you actually care about the team and/or player(s) there is no better spectator sport than baseball. When you’re interested in every pitch, the game is very compelling.

When you don’t care about either team it’s hard to blame the entire sport, but Alabama fans seem dedicated to this practice.

Then why did you even bother commenting?

I used to LOVE baseball when I was younger. Played it, watched as many games as I could, watched Sportscenter to see the highlights, all of it.

The pace just wore down my interest. I get that not everyone agrees, but still... there's a reason that, of the "big 3" collegiate sports, baseball trails the other two in viewers by huge numbers.

Baseball still feels like a collegiate sport to me, and I'm a baseball junkie. Played and coached in a championship organization that sent a lot of kids to SEC schools. I listen to college baseball on the radio a lot.

Holy crap Riojas! 8 strikeouts, 6 groundouts, 6 flyouts and 6 hits + 2 walks. That was a performance.

Hope to see OU bats come alive to make this a good series.

Guess you have to just be a fan. I'm an LSU fan, but I enjoy watching a good game. I thought this would have been a good game, but I stayed tuned into it because of how good Texas looked. That was a dominating win. I give Texas props on that.
