Who the hell are you except internet tard who thinks he knows more than a former VP of referees for the NFL? I just the watched the play again. #74 for Ole Miss clearly dives at #23 for Auburn and hits him in the knees/legs. The Auburn players falls on top of the Ole Miss player after this hit and that wouldn't happen unless he was hit awfully low

At 9s, the initial contact is at the waist.

I have seen the play fricktard. I am still wondering who the hell you are that makes you more knowledgable than a former VP of NFL referees. Your only experience with referees probably involves serving as one in some pee wee game

I think the refs do a great job every week. Trying to do what they do at the speed and of the size of the players is almost impossible. Especially when you consider they get to do their job just 10-12 times in the fall under an incredible microscope. And that's just 10-12 times per year.
Comparatively, NBA and MLB guys should be perfect since they get 82-162 games plus exhibitions per year and they still miss calls.
I compare it to video games proficiency. If you played those 10-12 times in the fall for just a few hours, take a week off and repeat and you couldn't practice more than say once in the spring, how bad would you suck at it? Is there any other profession or vocation you get to practice less every year than football officials?
Anybody who doesn't think the sec refs are pretty damn good is a damn Moran.

The officials cost South Carolina a victory last night when some thug Tennessee defensive linemen pushed the SC QB to the ground after the play was over and he was trying to get up. Didn't call the late hit, which would have given them the first down and would have allowed them to take a knee and run out the clock.

Auburn folks weren't tired of complaining about the refs after the State game.

After the Auburn game last year I lost all faith in fair refs.
It was obvious they got caught up in the crowd and missed 10-15 calls, most coming in the last 5 minutes. Those refs not being suspended was a farce.
An very good Auburn friend of my was calling BS until I sit him down and showed him all the bad calls, he agreed.
Refs have to answer to ni one. The reason I quit watching CBB is because the reffing is so horrible.

The proverbial I have a good friend who..., so my argument is valid. I bet you're not racist because you have a black friend.

The point that refs shouldn't be a focal point of discussion? Because pointing out that an Auburn fan has decided that after you guys already whined about and made then a focal point it 3 weeks ago when you felt slighted seems to fit the conversation.

We've been talking about them when Auburn wins too. Refs are a part of the game, but I will put your new rule of not talking about refs down.
Why didn't you share this rule after last years IB when so many Bama fans were talking about the refs?
In fact I see one doing it again in here. Hmmmm

No way will it stop. I hate that there is contact above the shoulder and below the waist. We need refs to legislate the 8 inch area, nipple to navel on any hit. Oh, and the defense can only tackle with the side of the shoulder. These judgement calls are hurting the game and the players are getting hurt with the same frequency as before.

How about add in the terrible calls that went your way?
This. Eat shite, Ole Miss. All Auburn fans hear about are the breaks that go our way. We've been getting hosed all season. We won at KSU when they got flagged ZERO times(many, many missed calls), but we got lucky in that game? If you want to focus on 2 or 3 calls that have gone our way, go right ahead and be stupid.

they didn't horse collar treadwell, however if we see more injuries like that from auburn grabbing jerseys and jumping on legs then we might see a rule change to stop that type of play.
I do not think AU has ever had a player kicked out of a game for jumping on another player. Can MSU say the same.

Here we go again with illegal lineman downfield bullshite ? The Head of the SEC Refs has gone on record saying there was not any penalty on that play.

I don't believe in any REC/SEC refs conspiracy, but the quality of the refs in the league is average to medicore at best. And with all the money the league is printing for itself, the blame then falls on the league office, specifically, the league's director of officials. What really pisses me off is when a play occurs that seems a slam dunk call, the ref/s is standing literally feet away, staring right at the play, and he then proceeds to blow the call. That happens time after time after time. Fast pace or not, I've seen calls where the ref is right there & still blows it. Question is: "why" and especially, "why does it occur so consistently"?
