are there too many rules? are the refs just this bad? Is the sport corrupt?

I have no idea, but I don't feel like which way the refs lean should be a weekly talking point, but it is, and that's fricked up.

It's the inconsistency that is pissing everyone off.

When they consistently sided with Bama some people were upset but at least you knew the strike zone.

yes, yes, probably. College sports is big big business. However, I think the first two questions are the bigger issues. The sec should have much better refs than it does.

Well here is one example of just how bad they are on a scoring drive Auburn had early in the game...

The other obvious example would be the horse-collar on Laquon. You have to call that!

Can we wait one more week before a ban on talking about refs. This is the LSU-Alabama game week. I need to have an area to vent after next Saturday night

There wasn't a horsecollar on that play. However, I believe there was an illegal block by Ole Miss on the play. #74 for Ole Miss gets in front of Treadwell and blocks an Auburn player in the knees. According to what I have read, cut blocks are illegal more than 10 yards down field

they didn't horse collar treadwell, however if we see more injuries like that from auburn grabbing jerseys and jumping on legs then we might see a rule change to stop that type of play.

You should read the rule book instead of some fantard's comments. Not only is #74's block not "at the knees" and legal, you need to learn when BBW is legal.

What is a BBW, other than a fetish?

every thread about refs apparently turns in to "auburn cheats"

even though we have 150 yards of penalties gifted to opposition just about every game.

Geez. 12 on the field. Duplicate numbers. Auburn can just roll out whatever personnel they want. It's hard to beat those gimmicks and the refs.

I did read the rules and #74 most certainly did contact the Auburn player below the knees. You sound like a fantard
