Its no harder than Baton Rouge or Tuscaloosa or Athens at night

Clemson scored 40 points against the best D in the country last year
Most teams that have a spread offense and a mobile QB score 40 points or more on "the best D in the country". You act like $aban and Kirby have only had problems with Clempson's offense.

yeah, if your reason to think a team will win is because of the crowd, you really have no reason.

Everything points to a Clemson win which is why I won't be shocked if Auburn does. Nobody plays the underdog role better than Auburn.
That said, I like Clemson by 10.

I'm with OP. I honestly think Dabo has been coaching over his head. I think this year it catches up to him, starting game 1. War Eagles 34 - Fake Death Valley's 30.

Not a chance in hell. Clemson will mop the floor.

True, spread offenses have caused Bama the most problems but they have gotten better at defending them........until Deshaun Watson. That guy is on a different level. Auburn is going to have to win a shootout. That's possible but not likely.

I'll be rooting for Auburn, but I'll be very surprised if they pull off the upset.

Yes, they'll be looking past AU to their game with Troy.
But seriously, yes I give them a chance. We'll have the advantage of playing in Jordan Hare and like the OP said, night games there are difficult for visiting teams. I'd say it's probably the toughest place in the SEC behind LSU to play at night.
Save the "Clemson offense scored 40 on the best D in the country." It's a dumb argument. Transitive property doesn't work.
Clemson only beat Louisville 20-17
Auburn beat Louisville 31-24
Even if AU doesn't win, I believe our offense will surprise a lot of people.
And at the end of the day, Clemson has all the pressure and AU has none. Like another poster said, we do well in the underdog role.
And frick Dabo and his stupid fricking name.

I guess you forgot the 700 yards of offense Marshall put up? Or how many yards and points Ole Miss put on you last year too? Bama hasn't gotten better at defending them. They just haven't seen many teams with good QB play recently. But when they do, they get smoked.

No I haven't forgotten about the yards Marshall put up two seasons ago. I just wish it was possible to show improvement in that amount of time.

Ole Miss won the game straight up. They did what they had to do to win the game and Bama didn't. They earned it.
That said, Ole Miss had a total of 433 yards that was helped greatly by Bama's five turnovers.
One of their longest pass plays came when the ball bounced off of a defenders helmet. Bama's defense played well enough to win the game. The offense coughing the ball up was the problem.

You thumped the worst statistical team in Auburn history in 2012, congrats. Yes 2014 you got us because we played piss poor, congrats.
Butthurt is an ugly color on you.

Such a bad troll, but I'm bored.
LSU is still #1 for overall night game intimidation. I will say that 1-2 per year, when there is a big game at night in JHS, it probably exceeds that average for LSU.
Athens is never in this discussion, and UA is not on the same level. Bama is intimidating because Bama is fricking good, but nobody finds the setting that daunting.

I think Clemson does just what Dak and MSU did last year.
Go down and score early, then sit back and watch Gus try to catch up with that offense. Like a shark taking out a seal: deliver a killing initial blow then circle around and watch them bleed out. No need to get yourself damaged, and Dabo doesn't need to run the score up to impress voters because he's in if he wins.

AU will win this game. Clemson scares me, but only later in the year.
