quote:Yeah since they have done that against a team with a pulse. Auburn is scoring about what yall are giving up to lesser offenses. Meanwhile Auburn is giving up 30 points less than what yall are scoring, to teams that are averaging 30+ a game.
You can dig up all the obscure stats in the world, but A&M is still gonna hang half a century. You just gotta hope you go for more.
Stats are stats no matter which ones you want to pick and choose because it favors your team but the game will still be a shoot out where the team that makes the most plays on defense will likely win. Auburn has a lot more play makers on Defense than A&M.

Right now, I have to go with Texas A&M, but I think it's going to be a close one.

Saying you only gave up 10 points off turnovers is a worthless stat because you're implying that even if you turn it over against A&M we aren't going to be able to capitalize on it. If you think thats true, well.... carry on I suppose.

Your logic cracks me up...
Thank you for that

Okay I'll bite. What does the stat mean, if not that you believe that even if you turn the ball over, you will stop us from scoring regardless.
Auburn gives up 10 points off turnovers
Auburn scores 35 points off turnovers

How I see it too. JFF+home is too much for me to pick against, but I wouldn't be a bit shocked if Auburn won.

I laugh at you because you like to use stats when it helps your argument and feel they will hold true in the upcoming game, but decide this one won't hold true. Your logic cracks me up.
In your world stats favorable to your team are good, and stats favorable to another team are obscure...
I love the humor behind it. I thanked you. Just say you're welcome.

We were told before 63-21 last year that we were gonna take an arse whippin.
Believe it when I see it!

I'll believe it when I see where someone made that prediction. We were all about to jump off the cliff before that game. Manziel just finished us off.
Just for reminders, Auburn was 1-6 and 0-5 in SEC play headed up to that game.

If Auburn was at home I would give them a chance. I do think it will be closer than most think but A&M gets it done. That Aggie defense is laughable however.
....the Aggie Offense thinks every defense they face is laughable

not sure if serious.
I meant after last season being ranked right now is a big deal. I'm fully aware that we both bought our success this decade and I see us as sibling teams because of it.
Anyways, the point was you guys have a shot at us this year, and that's something to be proud of.

Bama doesnt have a pulse? We scored 42 on Bama, are you saying your defense is better than Bama? Hanging 50 isnt out of the question at all. However I think we stay in the 40s (alot of running the ball)

There were quiqte a few rant posters chirping about how tough night games were at JHS no matter how down Auburn is.
Honestly can't remember if it was mostly Auburn fans or general trolls, though

quote:Again, no the frick you weren't. Texas A&M fans keep bringing this asinine statement up CONSTANTLY, and it simply isn't true. Entering last year's game, Auburn was 1-6. Why in the frick would we be claiming that Auburn was going to whip anyone's arse, much less Texas A&M's? It did not happen.

Hang up that false statement.
