19 pages of that over the course of 11 days.

That's a lot of posting about a coaching rumor that doesn't even involve your team.

I fully admit this could be 1st world problem that I will regret in 5 years when we aren't as dominant anymore.........but...........

The league is boring as shite right now. The coaches are boring, the teams are all the same, fans of 75% of the teams are in a constant state of "woe is me". It just sucks. My season ticket package everyyear is LSU or Auburn and a bunch of dogshite.

I'm all in for the trade off of a fun, exciting, good league for the possibility of losing an extra game.

Nah, you are just stubborn as frick. I've asked you in the past if you could find a single post where you complimented a non-Bama player or team that was genuine and didn't begin with "he's great but...." You can't do it You are the single biggest Alabama homer on this site, and that's really saying something.

On a forum with thousands of Bama fans? Not really, and who cares? There’s a thread about one of our biggest rivals potentially having a big name hire.

Your first post in this thread said Bama fans didn’t want it to happen.

I want to happen. I want entertaining coaches in the SEC. Gruden is entertaining.

Someone should hire Kiffin too.

VOLS - Gruden
Gators - Kelly
Arkansas - Kiffin
Ole Miss - Leach
A&M - Morris

Tell me that wouldn't be a massive shot in the arm for the amount of quality coaching and entertainment in the SEC

They don't. PLENTY of people said they weren't concerned about Saban coming back to college when we all knew that was bullshite. It was "Saban only lost fewer than 3 games once in his career" or "Saban was exposed in the NFL" or "Alabama isn't what they used to be, it's going to be a lot more difficult than Alabama fans think." It happens every time a rival school potentially makes a big hire. Fans will automatically try to minimize the effect that hire could have and hope their prayers come true.

I don;t know why it's so hard for you (and others) to admit that Gruden would be a home run hire for Tennessee (or anyone) and that you would be worried he could turn Tennessee's program around. It doesn't make you sound like a pussy, I promise. It makes you sound like a rational and logical human being, as difficult as that may be for you.

Pretty much all but 3-4 fan bases have called for their coach's head at some point this season, with about 5-6 getting their wish for frick's sake.

I'd love to see Gruden at UT!

Dude's 55 yrs old, never been a college HC, spent a total of 3 yrs at the college level as a GA/Passing Coach/TE coach and that was 30 yrs ago.

Jon's never sat in momma's living room trying to recruit 5* talent, hasn't controlled a locker room of 100 testosterone fill 18-20 yr olds, hasn't had to kiss Booster's arse and glad hand big $$ supporters......Hasn't hired a coaching staff, devised a game plan, implemented schemes in more than a decade nor has he been responsible for developing a constantly changing roster while juggling all of the above mentioned responsibilities.

I'd love to see Gruden at UT!

Feels like half of our games have been against teams where the fans say "Please beat us by 70 so we can fire ________".

Frick, that sucks.

Eric Hill
Deshaun Watson

Etc, etc...

This whole post just reads like you’re begging us to care or be afraid. But we really don’t and aren’t. Tennessee making a good hire is good for college football, especially the SEC.
