Really? I am curious can you produce some list of his prior recruiting classes or at least some of the top players he recruited to his prior coaching stint in college?

I personally haven't mentioned Gruden. Any Bama fan worried is a sidewalk fan. Tennessee won't ever be what they were.

not sure why you think that's funny. Why don;t you count the numbers of Alabama posters in this very thread and compare that to other fanbases.

One whole thread by one whole person on each board.

Clearly we care a whole lot.

I actually hope UT can find a coach to bring them back so TSIO can be a better game. Just we keep hearing with every hire it will happen.

I still remember the Kiffin hire and bringing his father in how so many UT fans were convinced the Tampa 2 D would dominate the SEC. How did that workout for you?

Because you mentioned the Alabama fanbase in the first response. So we responded. It’s pretty simple.

One whole thread that is 19 pages long on a coach that hasn't even been hired yet

The number on Bama fans in this thread are due to you making a dumbass comment. Has nothing to do with Gruden.

You don't think that a guy who has had the highest level of success (Superbowl) on the toughest stage in his profession (NFL) couldn't move down to an easier platform and continue having success? He's immediately one of CFB's most elite coaches the second he's hired.

I like how you think it's an easier platform. In a lot of ways it's a lot more difficult. Gruden may be successful but there's just nothing that guarantees it. And he'd be walking into a bigger dumpster fire than Saban walked into at Alabama...and it took Saban some time to right the ship...he lost to La. Monroe and Sylvester Croom, if you recall.

The key to Gruden's success is not going to be Gruden, but who he hires on staff.

I still don't see it happening.

I'm not really for it, but Im not against it. If it happens, its good to ad a big name coach to the conference. If it doesn't happen, all of the Vols fans built-up hope crashes, and that be nice too. So its a win win for me when it comes to Chucky and Tennessee.

We have the same rivals as UT (bammer and uga) and UF (uga and lsu). And we don't play them but once in a blue moon. Strong UT and UF is a good thing.

Does it make you nervous your AD wants to hire a person that hasn't coached since 2008?

you clicked on the thread. Yes, it's very simple. But please continue to tell me how much you don't care. The more you post about it I think really drives that point home

It was an observation. Y'all are the most represented fanbase in every single Gruden thread. Fact
