I like Les. I don't feel sorry for Les.
College football is a business. He knows its a business and he didn't make changes. He got quite a clear warning shot last year and the product was even worse so far this year.

Les said to tell y'all he's doing okay. And he wanted me to tell Choctaw that he said hi.

No. He was a clown. Now he's an out of work rich clown.
I wish LSU would have kept him, though. He was a good man.

Anyone who says bc of the buyout he shouldn't garner sympathy is missing the point. Joe alleva is the one responsible for any contact, right? All Les did was say yes.
For the fans excited about the firing, Saturday when we take the field is the time to be happy. However I'll never be an advocate for anyone to lose their job. Karma.
Yeah Coach O and our Tigas. Today we look forward to tomorrow.

I think it was handled poorly. Despite his problems in getting the most out of his team lately, he deserved better. He was really good in the other aspects of the job and was a positive ambassador for the school--especially during Katrina and the recent floods. Les is a nice guy. IMHO, the mid-season firing makes the job less attractive to potential candidates.

I don't feel bad but wish they would have done it after the end of last season, so this shite show wouldn't have happened.

Damn, the SECRant's bipolar disorder has flared up.
Pre 2016 Ranters = "Miles is a joke, clock mgmt embarrassment, grass-eating goofball, glad he's not our coach, lets all laugh at LSU."
Post 2016 Ranters = "Miles will be missed, LSU screwed up, he deserved better, poor Les, Coonasses turn on Miles"
Reminds me of when Evelle and Gale Snoats released themselves on their own recognizance and robbed the Farmers and Mechanics Bank of La Grange
Well, which is it young feller?

Les was a very good coach but an even better guy. He was good for the conference and I'm gonna miss that crazy guy on SEC sidelines.
I'm gonna miss watching the ban hammer drop on people posting pictures of his wife.

Yeah, poor rich Les...he wasn't even given an extra chance to change things and prove he still deserved the job. We should be ashamed over here

What about when he flirted with Arkansas or Michigan? Poor Les but the dude was playing LSU for money the whole time. Love the guy as a person but as a coach, good riddance

I'm sure in time LSU fans will be universally fond of Miles. Same as Richt will be, largely as Tubs is at AU.

But you all were more than happy to make fun of him for you recent success against the Tigers.
everyone makes fun of coaches. Les did a lot of stuff that invited it. Nothing he did was horrible, none of the jokes were intolerable.
Please tell me you aren't one of those guys who wanted him fired because he embarrassed you by being goofy on camera.
