Sold to CBS then to ON3. Trying to broaden his appeal. Unfortunately, as others have said, his analysis has become fairly superficial.
And, I hate the switching of the view from straight on to the side view constantly. We humans would rather be looking into the eye of a speaker, not the side of his/her/it's head. (yes I know, petty peeve)

I used to listen to Pate occasionally, but I hardly do anymore. He tends to go overboard a lot of the time, which is why I stopped listening. I’ll still tune in to Crain & Company from time to time and generally enjoy their content and perspectives. Pate kind of reminds me of Matt Moscona in Baton Rouge.

I've liked him in the past but will never watch another video of his after his hypocrisy this year.

His wife is insufferable and he uses her closeness to the Alabama program to act like he’s the Nostradamus of Alabama football.

I will listen to his clips on occasion, because he is connected in the CFB world, but agree he is annoying and I don’t listen to his podcast

CFB media in general has started taking their jobs way too seriously and it’s taking the fun out of things. Pate’s dedicated and puts out content with wide appeal, but his issue is he’s become didactic, which is a disaster when paired with being wrong 75% of the time

He was fine to start, but he tries to make everyone happy, which does not work. He has lots of viewers, but gets old.
