Someone in the know stated it may be a possibility. I think it has to do with the predicted tracking of Dorian come Saturday night.

Wtf are you talking about?

If there was a game in Gainesville or if that was the Gators playing in JAX, game would have already been called off. Wouldn’t even wait to see what the storm does.

Jax radio mentioned it’s a possibility the game is played earlier or moved to Tallahassee.

I believe OP thought it was Florida playing Boise state, but it’s not, they should be playing since it won’t even be raining there Saturday.

It's supposed to be several hundred miles east of FL on Saturday, and not make landfall till Monday, why would it affect a game in Jacksonville (NE FL)?

A lot of kids on Florida teams, of course, are from Florida and some may need to go take care of relatives/prepare for the worst. Many of their families can still be impacted.

At the least it's probably gonna be moved up to a noon kick eastern time.

Depending on what happens if/when it gets in the Gulf, this could have an impact on the ULM game next weekend too.

Was praying we wouldn't have to deal with this so soon after Michael last year

No shite. We panhandle folks are watching Dorian with a very jaded eye. Hunker down east coast of Fl. These days those storms blow up in a minute with the high water temps. It wouldn’t surprise me if they underestimated the strength at landfall.

We're told there will be a meeting Wednesday to discuss storm plans in more detail. If the track changes, the sports council says there is a plan in place.

Is the plan to have Boise State forfeit a home game and play the next 8 years in Tallahassee?

You're not making sense dude. Yoursource is an idiot and is throwing words like "possibility" out there to save his as bc he knows he's full of shite. He's just trying to act like he is a bigger deal than he is, don't believe his bs. I take the weather channel's predictions over your sources any day and they're saying what everyone else in this thread is saying but you.

Do you folks mind if I join you? I had heard about this board for years, so I started reading it about 4 years ago but never bothered to join up. This is my first post, although I did almost make a post the other day, but I can't remember why I didn't. Forgive me as I am old. Anyway, I am prompted to make a post because the Weather Channel is mentioned here and I can promise you that the WC is over-dramatic on its weather coverage. I am fairly sure that it is owned by the same company as CNN, so you see the problem. My wife stopped watching them for weather coverage. They sell drama rather than weather
