Empire State south is in midtown, it has a great atmosphere. Check out this LINK and pick what sounds good.

Canoe sounds like it is a must....we are cabbing it so anywhere works...and we will eat any kind of food...looking forward to some good food, drink, atmosphere and good ole jawja people!

Canoe is nice, so are all the others mentioned.

You're not going to find a whole lot of, "good ole jawja people," in Atlanta. It's a transient city just like NYC, Chicago, LA, etc.

You'll have to wait until y'all play UGA to meet a lot of good ole jawja people.

The Varsity for a lunch or somethi98ng besides a full night out...its right by Ga Tech and Dodd Stadium is closeby...its an Atlanta tradition for a long long time...get onion rings and hamburger.

Good god. When the best thing about a restaurant is "tradition", an outsider is only being setup to be disappointed.

Avoid the varsity, tell people you went and that you love the tradition.

There are a million greasy spoons in the world, and the varsity is not one of the better ones.

Got the Seafood Tower and Dry Aged Steak.............oh he'll yeah!!!

If you don't care about price and get lucky for reservations i'd say Bones.

Best steak and martini in the city
