At least Favre doesn’t interject God into everything and masquerade as the most devout Christian in sports, using that persona to try to attract recruits and gain favor from the masses…while being the complete opposite of that in reality. Freeze is the worst, no different than Swaggart and Falwell. Such a fraudulent POS. IMO, there’s nothing worse than using religion as a tool for your own self-interests. Honestly not sure if I could have continues following LSU football had they ever hired Freeze when they were pushing for him to be OC.

Favre is also a POS but not in the same way as Freeze in my eyes.

UGA coaches (assistants) I really don't like,,,

Grantham and Pruitt, both seem like A holes, and bad coaches to boot..

Fulmer, Meyer, Petrino and Spurrier are all narcissistic douche bags (Spurrier and Meyer are damn good coaches though)

not a real man alive who didn't ask for a blowjob under the desk but got one anyway

I'm pretty sure a "real man" doesn't write a letter of leniency for a former player who was convicted of rape and attempted murder so the former player's highly recruited stepbrother would sign with them.

Hard question, unless you've actually known them as people.

I love Johnny but he was also one of the meanest SOBs during that time frame that walked and I have no doubt that he'd have agreed with me about it.

The difference? Johnny bashed Fulmer any chance he got for years. Fulmer wouldn't allow players to say a negative word about Majors from the moment he took over. (Players straight up threatening to quit is one of the major reasons Johnny got fired. He had a full scale revolt going on.).

When Johnny got cleaner he got a metric ton better.

Spurrier I used to hate now I love him.
Never like Urban.
Did not like Archer or Hallman for us.
I actually hated Brian Kelly for years when he was at Notre Dame. Now I think he is the perfect coach for LSU right now. Part of this was my hatred of Notre Dame. I also think he seems like a different person here.

Some coaches end up being much more likeable as they older (Spurrier) but not Fulmer...he seems to get even more unlikeable with age.

My best friend went with his HS best friend on an official visit to UF when Spurrier was there.

The guy wasn't going to UF, but wanted the official visit and took my buddy as his plus 1, so to speak. He said Spurrier was walking through greeting the prospects and really had little idea all who he was meeting. He is shaking some WRs hand and chatting him up before moving to my Friends friend.

He spoke with him up for a minute before looking at my friend, turning to his staff, and saying "who the frick recruited this guy." The prospect said, "he's with me coach." Spurrier kind of sneered before moving on down the line.

Both went to FSU. One for baseball and the other for football. The old ball coach never missed a chance to call it like he saw it.

Danny Ford. Met him when a buddy was playing for him. Complete a-hole and dumb as a box of rocks.

No idea how he won one at Clemson.

Hugh Freeze and Gus Malzahn. Both are solid coaches but seem like snake oil salesmen.

Phil Fulmer is pretty lowdown, but I worked at a radio station once and he did a telephone interview with us and was as gracious as could be.

I think Tommy Tuberville is borderline retarded.

Dennis Franchione was a fraud.

Bobby Petrino is a terrible human being

My dad worked along side him at practices (when he was at Arkansas) for 3 whole days as an EMT to teach the team and coaches CPR, observe the medics and training staff, as well as some sort of classes/seminar for the training staff and coaches.

He said he's never wanted to punch a man so badly, and all the stories about Petrino being a callous, cold, egotistical, demanding, a-hole prick were true times ten. It's been over a decade and my dad still hates that man with a passion, even though he isn't a college football fan.

He said Petrino would regularly dog cuss and belittle the EMTs and medical personnel there volunteering over simple petty stuff, to the point that pretty much all of them walked away before finishing

It's also pretty well known that the Cotton Bowl committee refused to invite Arkansas back as long as Petrino was the coach, due to the way he treated the committee and on-site personnel.

He may have mellowed out some after being knocked back down to earth and humiliated, but the man was a world class a-hole and egomaniac

For most of his tenure, I respected Paterno even though I disliked Penn State. I changed my opinion because I believe he knew about Sandusky and did nothing about it.
