No, Doesn't seem like the type to leave early, if he was good enough.

It irritates me when people say a redshirt junior is leaving early if they do not come back to school for a FIFTH year. They aren't leaving early. They likely have their degree and have been on the team for four years. They are 22 years old.

Does AJ leave after his RS junior year? Probably not. There are too many other QBs in front of him, and we don't necessarily run an offense that garners a lot of attention for the QB. If he did, I would not consider his departure as an early one.

If McCarron has a good enough year in 2012 to go pro, Bama's got 15!

I'm pulling for McCarron to go!!

I highly doubt it. But there is a chance.

Does he work on a farm?

He's definitely got that farmer tan thing going on. But that's a good thing. Kid's that grow up on farms have good work ethic.

I dont see him as an elite QB at all. Take away your defense winning alot of games and idk how many games he would have led yall to victory.

Name another QB that had that kind of game against LSU. 23/34 and 234 yrds no Int's on the biggest of stages. Geno Smith of WVa had a good game with 460yrds but threw 2Int's. Wilson threw for 207 and had 1Int. Oregon's Thomas had 240 yards but with an Int. All these QB's also lot the game.

So, don't count AJ out of it yet. He would have a lot higher numbers if we didn't have a balanced approach. That will probably happen again next year but he'll have a lot more press too. And it will be his 4th year.

Sims won't ever start at Bama, in the words of Stephen A. Smith, "Because he's BLACK!"

McCarron, then this freshman.

First round lock.

Luck and RGIII should be happy he wasn't eligible for the draft this year.

He won't win the Heisman handing the ball off and throwing 12 yard passes.

He has the ego to leave way too early no doubt. He would need a huge season next year to get 1st round consideration though.
